I grew his pure blueberry, blueberry muffin edition last year. It was shit.
Some of his stuff might be ok to pheno hunt through hundreds of seeds, but it seems like he hasnt got anything anywhere near stable.

On a side note, where are dudes at? Aqua Man seems to have vanished, and cemchris hasnt been around in almost a month?

Absolutely!

Hey I managed to shovel 2 feet of drifted snow off my drive without ending up on the floor crying. I might have a chance still.

I havent gone to PE. I managed to rehab my rebuilt shoulder in half the time expected from PE according to my surgeon so i am trying to fix this myself too.

But I am being cautious. I will get a referrel to an orthapedic specialist if it gets any worse.

Glad to hear you are deeling better too. This thing has hurt for 4 months. It has ruined my plan and savings. Im always starting over because of my health. Its a tough reality to accept.

Another week or so left on these stinky ladies. Crop is looking good despite the odd rough looking leaf here and there. Buds are looking good and some are bigger than usual. Cookies looks the same but Bubba and violator are much bigger.
I'm really looking forward to the next one already though, as usual. I think I've settled on 3" blocks on unislabs for the next cycle.

Hey dirtbag, thanks, you just saved me 200 bucks, i was going to get the muffin just because i was really impressed with the blue amnesia, but yea i had to go thru 40 plants, and the one i kept is really difficult, great smell of blueberries , but finicky as hell and does wierd shit.... its autoflowers, then stops then goes, if the 18 on light cycle changes 1/2 hr it starts to pre flower like crazy (from clones)
Massive root growth , twisted unpredictable veg , i think im gonna toss it.....
Only thing, its got the original dj type bb smell......

P.S. nice grow you got there, im gonna start a grow diary soon.....

Well my cheese is dry enough to sample a small piece, its going into the curing jar today. It has a lot more blueberry in the smoke than I was expecting, in a good way. It's much more blue cheese than pure cheese, but still very, very tasty. And the yield from it was nearly double what I pulled from the JOTI and ethos plants, which are both lackluster in the smoke dept. Shame, I had high hopes for the Forbidden zkittlez. But the taste is nothing like it smelled mid flower. Surprisingly boring.

This cheese though is a keeper. You can taste both the cheese and blueberry parents and the flavour coming from each is legit. The only problem, is it's easily a 10-11 week flowering strain whereas most of my other strains are done by week 9. Might have to be a monocrop. Couple pics before I seal it up.

Man that looks nice. And you seem to agree about longer flowering plants being well, better.

Generally yes. 9-10 weeks is my sweet spot, anything I've grown that finishes flowering quicker than that is not nearly as good in terms of overall quality and effect. 10-11 weekers are usually excellent but I like to keep flowering times of around 10 weeks or less. Violator, Bubba and cookies are all solid 9 weekers, though cookies can be taken to 10 no problem.

Hey @Kanzeon, Lavanda Cream just started to pop roots today! Thought you'd be happy to know she survived the sandwich bag adventure lol. I got stuck in the ferry lineup going home that day too due to ferry cancellations, the wind in the straight was so bad. Poor little cutting sat in that wet ziploc bag in a freezing cold truck till almost midnight that night haha. But she pulled through, and I'm saving a spot for it in the next cycle.

Thanks again bud!

Yessss! I was just wondering about that cut. Great to see it survived the cold that well, too! Next time you're stranded just come blaze.

Getting close. Gonna give them another week though, still feeding about 0.9ec at 5.8ph using a little calcium carbonate, Epsom salts and PBP grow... Trichs are mostly cloudy but there are still a few clear ones.

Pretty vibrant colours coming off the Violator this run, and the buds while not big, are way bigger than the last round. I think the roots werent as well developed on the VK compared to the rest of my plants though and they suffered some deficiencies as a result of overfeeding during formation of the fan leaves in veg. The problem was corrected by early flower though but by that time those leaves had become sources instead of sinks and never really fully greened back up, though the bud leaves look healthy and happy, despite the evidence of overfeeding. My friend who gave me the strain saw these plants recently and says this is a really decent size for this strain. They're almost 3x bigger than the last run going by eye, and very frosty and extra stinky. Just need to dial in the root grow-in and feedings a bit better next round when I'm less rushed to keep the crop on a timeline...

This Platinum cookies is just bombproof. Goes to show how much genetics play a role in overall success. Some strains are a real bitch to grow, and some arent. Hardly any overfeeding signs on it, not even close to fading yet and looks like it could go 2 more weeks. But thankfully the trichs are mostly cloudy cause they only get one more week lol, and just monster donkey dongs for tops. Again, these are much bigger and smellier than previous runs. Feeling pretty sold on this hydro setup, especially when I consider how much less work it is.

Rockwool is just way easier to bring in and out of the shed, the automated watering is so easy to manage now that I've sort of got the hang of it, and it's way easier to monitor plant health and diagnose issues faster, and more importantly correct them quickly. I was honestly hardly ever in my shed except to mix the res over the past month. Difficult to quantify but its felt noticeably easier to deal with.

I didn't think about carrying the dirt in and out. I only ever have to deal with one or two plants at a time. Last night i had 2 seedlings in cups to transplant to 1 gallons and onlu one of them was dry and light enough. The work is all staggared for me perpetually. And trimming tonight or tomorrow will only be like 4-5 oz. until the next plant ripens.

Work is constant with no break though. Always something needs doing. Have been going through 2 surgeries and my back injury now.

If I didn't grow in water, with all the soil I would have had to get rid of, my back yard would be 4ft taller than my neighbours on either side of me by now. And clean to work with.
