Same plants: middle is FullGas, farthest away Chemdog #4 x Okie, 2 weeks apart.

Same shitty picture quality, yep. While I'm trying to get FullGas to finish up, Chemdog #4 x Okie did it on her own. She got top heavy and bent over. Nothing good comes from a bud laying against the wall or each other so down came Chemdog #4 x Okie first.

Chemdog #4 X Okie Wedding Cake -

Seed to Finish = 15 weeks
Flower Time = 9 weeks

I could talk about her for a paragraph or 2 but pictures are more fun. I will say this girl is a pig, never, and I've flowered a couple, have I seen one consume that amount of water every single day. Pushed 3 gallons per day, one plant.

Curtis Loew got bored while I was trimming.

FullGas - Exodus Cheese and Sherbert OG

Seed to Finish = 17 weeks
Flower = 11 weeks

She gives a new meaning to the word stretch. 8-9 weeks my ass. If she smokes like she looks i might just go with her a second round.

Lights went off, just about got her all trimmed

weekly - There's only 4 rooted plants left

OG Kush - 6 weeks

Veg - One to flower and a couple seedlings

Cloner - 10 days cut. Turned on the light yesterday @ 70 ppfd. 24 hours at this light level unrooted will wilt. Usually loose a couple here.

The wife had her first marigold bloom in her hydro system.

Weekly-

Cloner- Turned the lights on, 70 ppfd, at 10 days. Lost one, usually 2, and every time I clone I lose a Trainwreck. This system could stand a higher humidity for the clones early on but I just cut a couple extra

Veg - 2 for flower and 1 to clone. I am REALLY liking the growth structure of Oreoz x okie, short and compact

OG Kush - 7 weeks - if nothing else she is a beautiful plant

Dryers - have just about done their jobs.

More Marigold Blooms!

Exodus Cheese x Sherbert OG

Not an easy plant to grow but well worth it in the end. Advertised as 28% THC, it's every bit of that and maybe more. Yeild wise, respectable:
505 grams/18 ounces from a single indoor plant in a 4x4.

Chemdog #4 x Okie Wedding Cake -

512 grams / 18.28 ounces single plant 4x4 hydro

I did not reach the genetic potential of this plant. New plant, new growth characteristics and I missed the final 2 weeks when this gal would have thrown on some serious weight. At 9 weeks when she started to bulk up she got top heavy and laid over. No questions asked, harvest asap.

A fella can look at this as a curse or an opportunity, I'm going with opportunity. Get some silica in those stems so they can hold the weight. I can easily see this girl dropping 24.

Smoke wise, she's a 22 - 23% flower if I had to venture a guess. She's got a nice kick to it but it doesn't knock you out. A very productive high which we are thankful for. There's a time and place for couch lock...

I like this plant enough pheno #2 goes into flower this weekend.

IPM at lights out so I got a better pic of OG Kush. 7 weeks today, thinking she might be done sooner than I expected. I've said it before

"damn she's a pretty plant" not much frost and for a freebie the expectations aren't that high but damn, she's pretty!

Chemdog #4 X Okie Wedding Cake Pheno #2

First run of this pheno. #1 did a fine job, curing as I type. Plant 2 seeds, flower one and clone one. This one showed less initial stretch so it got cloned, stretch being about the only gauge at that point.

Training begins day 1 in this system. First trellis is 12" from surface. Lowered the 2nd trellis from 12" to 6" above the first. Knowing going into this grow that Okie's tend to lean. I want to take this gal out past 9 weeks.

All the real work is done by now for this plant. That string is 12" from the surface. Plant came in at 14" and over 100 stems. I've done everything I can think of to keep this plant short while it developed now she is going to explode.

I'll get laughed at here but that's just fine. This gal has never been in the dark. I run veg 24/7 lights on and have for 15 years. Keeps those young plants in check. And no, I've never hermied from light shock.

5" tall seedling. topped at 5 sets. This next one to flower is off to a good start

Came down around 8 weeks. She has been a pleasure to grow, if nothing else she's a beautiful plant. Nice purple tent towards the end.
