dry sifting to hashish pressing

Alright I think I understand... so the 250 micron is basically just to hold all the flower, 165 catches all the plant matter that came through, 149 catches mostly trichome stalks and small plant debris, 75 catches the trichome heads and lets tiny stalks and plant matter through?

So basically we just want the stuff on top of the 75 (73, or whatever) for our hash?

The hash I've made in the past was only through a single 110 mesh filter. The screen set I just bought was listed as mesh with micron equivalents listed (but to my understanding micron is precise and mesh is not) so I hope they work well lol.

One question... when making temple balls for instance, rolling with the hot bottle etc... can you still taste a difference between the strains? Also wondering if there's a technique for getting different profiles from one strain like if you cure the temple ball does it taste different?

And ONE MORE QUESTION! 🤣

WHERE CAN I FIND A GOOD HASH PIPE??? I would much rather smoke it by itself, but all the hash pipes I find are chemical woods imported from china.

I smoke my hash in a glass bong mostly, occasionally a metal pipe

I always smoke it on the end of a safety pin but I think it would be nice to have a dedicated hash piece designed to smoke hash. I've seen a few glass bowls designed for it, with the 3 little holes and the hash sits below the holes. I'd like a chillum too but man shit like that sold online is usually chemical city lol.

Well, keep in mind that when you get up in quality towards full melt, when you heat it, it acts like a liquid and will clog up any screens or go right down the drain hole of some pipes! But you can smoke dirty, hash fine! If it just chars instead of melting! When I was making it, I never gave any thought to how I was going to smoke it! Lol!

I doubt I'll produce anything full melt but I appreciate the confidence you have in me 😂 . But if I did produce full melt I'd just probably have to get a dab rig. I don't like them with all the blow torches and giant glass pieces fuck all that noise.

Yeah, that is a viable alternative if you have the lungs for it! And you will get to that stage eventually! But you can always mix it with some weed or spliff it if you smoke tobacco! You don’t see very many Afghanis sitting outside their huts smoking bongs! They are spliffers from what I’ve seen!👍🍻

ok so the hash your looking for requires a cure/storage of up to a year or more ,. like this,.

clean the pile mmmm probably means either carding/bouncing the sift on the screens above 75 to knock the stuck trichomes down to 75 screen or static cleaning sift with nitrile glove,.
yes storing hashish away for over 4 months in room temp will create new terpenes and cannabinoids and the longer it’s stored the cannabinoids will destroy any contaminant also,.

The full melt I just put on a small bed of flower, keeps it from clogging the screen

Yeah, I’ve done that! It works! But I figured if I’m gonna do that I might as well Just mix it in and twist it up! Being a filthy smoker!😆 and I tried getting cute and doing that with my vape! I forgot vapes stay hot a hell of a lot longer than a bong! So it was all about disassembling and cleaning up the mess with iso! Lol!

Yes that's the stuff! Man that looks delicious. That's crazy how things happened and changed what was around. It's like how there's no skunky weed anymore...it's all sweet, candy and cake. So I guess I'll set some bud and trim aside for a year.
