samsung diodes normally hit around 2.4-2.6 umol/j these are listed at 2.0 so its virtually the same as a gavita 750w de ,which is good but not where top end leds are

I'm eager to see the results. According to specs 2 of might be on par with a 1K se but that will be for you to decide. All I can say for now is that $700 for a 300W led light is pretty steep. HLG600 would cover pretty much the same area and being cheaper while at it. I know, I know ... these have broad spectrum leds and what not. But in the end they are pink and the sun isn't. Let's just see how they do.

cant find any info on diodes and this is the first im hearing of the brand.but im living under a rock so

they advertise quite the footprint so it will be interesting.

More than I did .
Little behind in a big hurry to put the lights up and load the room yesterday. Veg has been out-of-control. Combination of things but mostly I got plans in too soon.
I will try and get some pictures up tomorrow after the lights come on. The lineup will be 1 cannatonic 3 Mendo 2 Wookies 2 ultra brights. A full room to say the least.

Busy is f****** lazy as f*** but here's some pics.

About 8 to 10 hours into their first 12 12 light cycle. First thing I noticed when I walked into the room what's how cool it was. I just extract to control the temperature no AC. But it does take about 48 hours or two light cycles two-cycle before the room stabilizes.
Before and after the net. definitely veg 2 long. There was talk of topping them today but I have never topped plants in flower. I will have to do a lot of lollipopping.

Oh yah 4 testers 2- PI & 2- SP that were sexed. When I chopped the room I put the testyers in a closet for 4 days. Then put them back into flower just to see how they handle the stress.

So I got my hands on a pair of EF 300 to try. I removed 1 of my 1K se and put these two up. I have been running this setup for 4 years now. I know what my average yield and quality are we shall see how the leds stack up.

I know I should have gotten 4 and swapped the hole room. But I would Like to see the advantages of blending the 2.

Curious why you wouldnt do an HLG 600 for similar output(couple more UMOLS actually)and half the price?

I only know 3 people using leds they swear by those lights. They tell me if I buy the es300 or the hlg550v2 I'm wasting my money

Not when you can get an HLG 600v2(assembled with a dimmer)for $761.00,thats like 1.23 a watt,1.12 if you assemble it.1540 PPF,2.51 UMOL for 40 LESS watts.Not sure what fluences claim to fame is?Secret spectrum?lol.

I knew someone would ask that question at some point and the best answer I can throw out there is the background and experience these cats have. They cater to universities, botany science labs, and not really to the smaller boutique grower market. They have been around a few minutes. And as a bonus they are built right here in the us of a. The specs are off the charts and with Co2 supplement I have seen my bros grows for 3 runs now and I am sold on his results. The coloration of the same strains we run is bat shyt crazy under his spyders compared to my mh/hps running the same clones

I will be sure to post up a journal when I get setup and will keep a detailed run so folks can see the results.
