Put in 20 ml of rhizotonic today tomorrow will change the resv and will put in:

Canna Flores A+B
PK13/14 (half dose and then another half dose in 3-4 days)
Cannazyme
Boost

Have not had any funk at all in the resv thanks to the chiller i think. Having the chiller means the water also keeps circulating. So not used any sm-90 or h202 in a while. i love growing hydro with a resv and i love my chiller! :)

Hempys seem to be doing well now too and flowering quicker, but find the hand watering process annoying and tedious. On the other hand, nice to be able to grow different strains...

Here is a pic of a baby NYC HP13 and a baby XXX OG. Also have some baby white bubbas, but the white bubbas are NOT vigerous, at least at this point...

Ebb and flo girls update

My camera is so bad, the hps light so distorting, barely seems worth posting pics, I mean these pics really dont do these girls justice, they look WAY better than i seem able to capture... Gone this far already though so will keep going to the end, and maybe next grow will get a better camera.

These are pics of the 4 girls in the ebb and flow system. Totally manageable, but would be nice if there was more space between plants. System plants are at least a week behind the hempy girls.

This week will not use any rhizo or pk boost. will give strong dose of canna aqua flores a+b, 150ml of boost, and 80ml cannazyme. PH steady thanks to canna buffers, happy roots, chill rez...

Looking good in here... I'd suggest setting your white meter on your camera using a piece of white paper under the HPS. This will eliminate the yellow cast and reveal much more accurate colors. Otherwise I've found that setting your camera to sunlight or daylight mode and taking photos withe the flash on low and HPS off is also perfect for up close bud shots... :thinking

Lookin good JayBee. Cant wait to see some finished bud shots. ive been interested in this strain.

thanks for the input Shady, i am gonna play around and try some of the things you mentioned. I was thinking about trying to pick up a used digital SLR on ebay just for nug shots, is that crazy?

hey bro do u think the endless skys will be done in 42-45 days? cant wait to hear a smoke report....

I want to see how soon these finish mine went 8 to 9 weeks, looking good JB

hey jaybee lookin good bro ye a slr is a good choice for bud porn...as shady suggested tinker with the white balance to get rid of the yellow cast or lights off and flash on if you are using a slr set white balance to manual or user mode and raise the green spectrum your ladies are looking good should be finish inside the 8 weeks be hanging round too see this one finish and the smoke report

Thanks for the kind feedback everyone. I am pretty sure these will not be done in 42-45 days! It is possible the hempys could be done in 7 weeks, but for sure the system will need 8 weeks at least.

Thinking about trying some of the GH Ripen heard it speeds up flower by few days without losing anything. ANy comments on Ripen?

I have a very good feeling about these plants, think they could end up real good...

Nice job JB... Just wondering about the pots... Are those the 1 gal size for the hempy buckets? I used 3 gal in my current Round for soil, and am I'm using the 1 gal ones for the early weeks of bloom in my next round until I can transplant in the 3 gal pots. Do you have any plans to repot or are you not worried about root bound or spin-out? I'm not real clear on the definition of Hempy buckets other than reading Sway's journal...

Hempy bucket basically means that couple holes are drilled about 2 inches up from bottom, creating a 2 inch reservoir (no holes on bottom of buckets). 2nd part of hempy is that it is soiless. So I am using 50 perlite/50% vermiculite with hydroton on bottom 2 inches. To be honest I am worried about root rot more than anything, but for some reason seems to be ok. Maybe because the resv is relatively small and gets to dry out. I think allowing little dry period between waterings is real important for hempy buckets.

I am not sure what size these green buckets are, they are actually cheap trash bins I bought for about 1 dollar each at local hypermart. Then wrapped them with the shiny metal 3m duct tape (great stuff). They are bigger than 1 gallon, maybe 1.5 or 2 gallon. I did soil once and HATED the transplanting stuff. Dont do it for the hempys.

Where I live outside is basically a big flower room with a steady 12 hours of strong sunlight followed by 12 hours dark every day. I was thinking about trying an outdoor SOG in the back yard...

Love the first spliff of the day...

JB

Very nice... The 1st hit of the day. Thx for the hempy bucket clarification too! That's very interesting having a shallow res...
