Im going to guess here but based on a few facts. I think the defoliation wont matter as the trichomes are a direct response to the light. Sunscreen is a word used to describe them. And the frostiest plants grow on the side of a mountain in the desert rather than in a dense rain forest so makes sense.

Solis tech had tests on the 10k finishing bulb where the thc increase was the same running the uv strong bulb only the last two weeks as when they ran it full cycle.

so i guess the buds alone can produce the trichomes fine in response to the uvb because the plants were flushed and fading the last two weeks in the test.

I also decided not to bother as the thc increase alone does nothing for a quality high imo and i dont have product tested. If i still did it could make more money at the dispensary cause of the higher thc.

Yeah I have also read that (I cant remember the exact wavelengths) blue and UVB work similarly in conjunction like red and far red (Emerson effect) that results in increase in terps and flavoniods. Most of use already have enough blue and lack the UVB. Atleast under LED.

In the next few weeks i'll be ordering something for my next grow (unless someone has a great clone from a strain I can use as a mother) so I've been searching the last couple of days. I order from about 10 USA based seedbanks, so I'm not sure where yet but I'll let you pick some seeds form the seedbank I order from. I haven't thought about how much to allow just yet, maybe $125-$150......... but I'll let you know the exact number before the Superbowl- it will depend on where I end up ordering from and how much it is for a nice pack of something.

How to win: Guess closest without going over the total amount of:

1. the final score total plus
2. # of sacks plus
3. # of turnovers

Official game stats will be used to tally the final number.

Nope. If it was unproven science, then that might make sense. But there is virtually no way the addition of the UV-B won't enhance things. The real question is how much damage the plants sustain in that quest.

I throw out so many cuttings it's rediculous.
Current GMO mother could probably produce 30-40 per week.
