my tap water already has 180 ppm of carbonate. is it any cheaper/faster/easier to use ro water and add baking soda?
Good point, I've never done it but I see a few growers around here flush with tap and molasses, teaspoon per 5 gallons I think.
Or maybe it was a 1/4 teaspoon per 5 gallons. Not much anyway.
