the brown stuff is the nutrients that are sitting at the end of the bucket. It doesn't have enough water circulation or agitation to keep the nutrients mixed. i think you need a stronger pump to raise the water level.

you can buy the proper one this round and then have your current pump used as cleaning the rez water. So, instead of carrying, use the pump to dump the water out or inyeah. My pump is a total joke. I’m tired of buying stuff twice.
watch the link i sent you. dnt just go buy
no, but thanks for sharing. I should of figured API carries something to keep the build ups low. howwever, My fish keep my tank clean.Does anyone here use pond zyme in their res? It's cheap and widely available everywhere.....?View attachment 1080683
They will all work.I am going to call stores today and get it bacillus bacteria figured out once and for all.
I’ve read lots about great white too. The thing with 5 diff kinds is I feel I’ll probably end up getting the worst option. Great white, z9, hydroguard, southern ag, etc etc. Watch me pick the shittiest one.
I can send it no charge but my only concern is it may freeze.I’m thinking an e transfer to Aqua Man to throw some southern AG in the mail is the best and easiest option. I’ll pay ya double. And buy you a steak supper for all the help
Yup ita an option for enzymes.Does anyone here use pond zyme in their res? It's cheap and widely available everywhere.....?View attachment 1080683
dosent he still have to use hydroguard with ag?I can send it no charge but my only concern is it may freeze.
No they are the same.... bacillus amyloliquefaciens. S AG is far far more concentrated and far cheaper. To give an idea hydrogaurd is 2ml per gal and S AG is is 1ml per 20gal.dosent he still have to use hydroguard with ag?
So the bacteria in it produces the Enzymes? What else would have to be used with this?Yup ita an option for enzymes.
