right now the plant is showing droopy leaves. to me it just seems to much feeding. In hydroton? Something must have been wrong. Roots will grow submerged if the o2 is adequate.
I fear if its not constant or at minimum very frequently the roots will air prune or not have enough nutrients.
The max it’ll go to is around 12000 but if I angle the phone or put my phone in front of the screen to read it better it seems to make it sky rocket into the 40,000sIf you hold it close to the light what does it max out at on your phone?
Yeah that will work but there are better. You can probably find 85%phosphoric acid locally for cheap. You will use much less.More info
Yeah cause its stressed to hell and back from the transplant. I dont feel its possible they can be overwatered but thats just me.right now the plant is showing droopy leaves. to me it just seems to much feeding.
I dnt think the roots will airprone because he will be manual feeding until the roots grow out.
I think the roots always had water and nutrients right there so they never outgrow.
your right, but thats cuz the plants are gone from soil to hydroYeah cause its stressed to hell and back from the transplant. I dont feel its possible they can be overwatered but thats just me.
I agree... thats why it looks so bad right now. It will come around though... im pretty confident.@Aquaman The plant was also in soil prior to going into the rdwc. From my experience that is no no.
fingers crossed! I would take some clones and stick those in a rockwool or something and put it in a domeI agree... thats why it looks so bad right now. It will come around though... im pretty confident.
hmmm. if im gonna have to flush and bleach and clean and re do everything (just to have it chunk up again tomorrow) then I think im going back to soil. this is extremely frustrating and ive already lugged around and wasted like 100 gallons of water this weekend so far.
I didnt think it was this critical and complicated with temps and chemicals and bacterias and stuff I cant even see or pronounce. I just dont get why it went wrong the second time, I followed every direction properly. unless a few degrees and few extra, normal, nutrients somehow caused this?? very frustrating. this isnt fun.
My first round of dwc became a nightmare that i switched to soil just to learn the plant. DWC is actully fun and after my first round of nightmare i learned allot. Now i've got it working and am following what i've learned.
Don't give up, it sounds difficult but its easy
No h202... do not use h202 with hydrogaurd it will kill all the benefical bacteriaYes. All 4 plants came from a buddy who had clones ready to go in soil and I was impatient
I knew they’d look rough for a week or so till they adapted to not only their new environment but my screw ups too
I do have some in soil right now and am trying to get two tents setup. One hydro and one soil and maybe efenrjsklt go all hydro. Not off to a good start.
will spend some money tomorrow on hygroguard and a ph meter and other things. H202.
I wouldn't risk it... they are stressed enough and I think that would finish en off. I honestly think a few changes here and a week to recover and he will be in good shape.@Aquaman do you think he can put those plants back in soil, take 4 clones from his good plants and start a fresh hydro. This also gives him a chance to actually upgrade the parts he needs.
@User59204626117 thats the 2nd time lol!No h202... do not use h202 with hydrogaurd it will kill all the benefical bacteria
