5 Weeks: Well...I dont know. I think they actually look pretty good. I dont see any deficiencies to speak of, they take half a gallon or a little better every other day. PH seems good. Havent used a lot of nutrients other than some bat guano, castings, molasses, and some Bush Doctor Microbrew.

Ive gotten what I call aggressive for a first timer with two toppings (one successful one still in process) and continual LST and one defoliation of humungo fans.

And....it looks like theyre doing what theyre supposed to do.

So Im getting real close to flower stage. I want to wait maybe one week for recovery and success of my second top. I fimmed a couple as well and may get multiple colas IDK.

I guess if I had one question it would be do I need to wait to see results from the topping earlier this week, or would those results still show themselves in pre flower/flower and...is the theory that the longer you veg the more potential bud sites you create hence a bigger yield?

I am in NO hurry and have plenty of room for these to expand in flower.

If anyone sees anything I am not PLEASE help me out. :)

That big plant in front always looks lighter green in photos than it is. I do think it could use a little N maybe but the growth it exhibits has kept me from using a specific N product other than one time. It does get 1% N though the Microbrew. Looking at these pics I want to go take off some more lower fans in prep for flower.

IDK. Thats what Im waiting to see what develops out of a sortof half assed spontaneous hand topping/fimming. Instead of a more surgical scissored approach like my first top. Ill see about some close ups and Ill look through my hand lens.

Looking good man, first time indoor grower here can’t wait to see the progress into flower. It’s nice looking at plants older then mine and seeing what I will progress into in a few weeks, I’m running autoflowers but may switch to photos on the next run, depends atm how the autos do as I still have another 18 seeds.

Decided to defoliate again and flip. Heavy defoliation of large dark green fans and was careful around bud sites. Theyre actually 5 weeks tomorrow.

Fed with Tiger Bloom and switched to 12/12. They actually went straight into the dark as Ill run lights on from 12 Midnight to Noon.

Ill get my scrog net in here soon.

WiFi Cam Pic second day flower. Finally adjusted everything and settled everything in for now at 850 PPFD/Umol in the middle and acceptable temps and humidity. My plan is is to get it up to a little over 1000 PPFD it depends on what my corner readings are. I need the sides and corners at 850 minimum.

Some stretch and activity already albeit minor but I can see things going on and for the first time I got a whif of smell.

I really think these actually look great for all the HST and LST and major defoiliating that was necessary Im pretty stoked and excited to see what comes next.

When they stretch some more Ill get my nets in but they arent needed yet.

Little more pruning especially lower stuff cleaning that out, fed with Tiger Bloom again, removed all LST pip cleaners and set light at 950 PPFD in the center and 45 DLI.

I also hung my Hygro/Thermo Govee sensor from the light at canopy height after doing some research on best placement and theres as many opinions on that as you can stand so....thats where it is.

That Therma Pro always reads hot IMO. IDK Govees at 79 degrees.

Fuckit. Plants seem happy.

Be careful Max. The stretch can catch you out. I just about burned up two young buds. Was a ave. 1000 PPFD per Apogee. Got a good stretch and it about went bad. Had to raise the lights and back them back down to 940 PPFD. When I checked and found the two buds burned a bit that simple stretch had them at 1200 PPFD. Glad I caught it in time....

A slight burn.... It will recover...

Day 2 flower and Day 4 for comparison. Not as pale as they seem in the 2nd photo but I am doing a full feeding tomorrow. I see no problem building a nice canopy and there is a ton of budsites below and cola sites on top.

6 Weeks 1 Week Flower: Ive been defoliating every few days. I think Ill stop a while I think I stunted stretch a bit no big deal as there are budsites O'Plenty and lots of Colas starting to bud.

The plant on the lower right is different than the other two somehow. IDK. Its still happy but different.

6.5 weeks/45 days day 12 flower.

Lots of nice colas and buds in process.

Running about 1000 PPFD in the middle and 950 at the corners. PH after nutes added is 6.25 appx.

Watering every other day with 1/2 gallon each moving nutes in and out with no particular method but easing off the N and focusing on P and K but still adding bat guano, molasses and microbe brew every now n then and a squeeze of Cal Mag each watering. A squeeze is a teaspoon. lol

For such short squatty plants theres a lot to look forward too I think. Im going to add at least one scrog net here soon but so far I dont need it.

Week 3 Flower (2 weeks 3-4 days) Defoliation: Oy....took off a lot more than it looks like. Watered afterwards to replace water reserves.

It’s my first grow but I work 12 hour shifts (wife check in in the plants when I working but she just looks no touching and reports temps and humidity to me ) when I work day shift I leave at 4am and check the plants just before I leave and come home at 7pm I see leaf movement (trying to return to previous positions from my leaf tucking) and bit of growth when I get home, but when I work midnights I check them at 4pm just before I leave after sleeping all day (lights off at 10) and get home at 7am and refill humidifiers and tie down for the day (LST) I notice much more growth right in the morning. Not sure if it’s a consistent thing with all strains / genetics but I’m growing 3x Strains and for me I see the most growth difference right in the morning when the lights come back on (running 18/6 on autos)

Thank you Mike. I think so too for a first grow. Few things Ill do different on my next run but not a lot.
