Your 250W lamp is equivalent of 250W incandescent bulb. It's not putting out the same ammount of light as HPS/MH bulb of same wattage. It's also not consuming 250W actual watts of power.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO lol not cfl bro hid/hps :) what u got there is good for veg if it's blue or if it's a red leaner maybe a few extra lumens at the end of flower if needed
3 cfls running 2 are blue and one is yellow. P

I'm using cfl because it's cheaper for a low cost closet grow. Hps lights and all would've been too much.

There is nothing wrong with CFLs. All I wanted to say is in regard to g/W don't expect 250g even if you've done everything perfect because your light is not actually using 250W

That's alright.. Don't mind getting just 20gs outta it also.. If it comes out good that's enough for me I just wanted to get an idea that's all

Are u talking to me mate ??? Do I belive that they should have a flush in coco from time to time definitely without a doubt no where near as often as soil but still needs a little flush from time to time :)
i never flush coco with straight water until two weeks before chop, and even then,, i use water and enzymes to flush,, now when i accidentally burn a young vegging plant, i just water heavy with (half strength nutes) using about three time the amount of water to soil,, then i allow soil to dry out a bit and burned plants usually bounce right back to great health… but i was taught that you don't ever feed coco with just plain water,,, i tried it and it screwed every thing up and i had sub par results...

I always just use ph water every other week or so in coco everything stays real green and healthy no over no under just nice I like to give it a good rinse when I'm doing hydro too everytime I drop the tank and ive done it like this for a very long time with absolutely no problems ever each to his own I guess :)
