Yeah I have heard mixed reviews, but, these were given to me as a gift so I ran them. I do have some other strains ready for the second grow. While i hope your grow is successful Growers Choice sucks there beans are only f2 and unstable, if your going to run autoflowers try Methisto there pretty much the best. Good Luck.
Wow! Unexpected and a very awesome explanation thank you!. All of these things I would not have thought to be variables in the units themselves. Funny enough both calibrate the same but I find my plants look a lot better when I use the cheap PH meter over my Milwaukee.Segal's law is an adage that states:
A man with a watch knows what time it is. A man with two watches is never sure.
Same goes for pH meters, lol
It is due to how they are made and what they actually do.
a pH meter has a voltmeter stuck on a pH testing stick and an electrode that has a non variable fixed measure point. The probe is usually glass, and the reference is usually a silver–silver chloride electrode, although a mercury–mercurous chloride electrode is sometimes used.
When the two electrodes are immersed in a solution, they act as a battery.
The glass electrode develops an electric charge and the voltmeter measures the difference between them.
So, any material differences, like tolerances of condutive probes, or thickness, or ... So many things!
So the differences are what you should expect.
The plus and minus variance is greater with cheaper materials, and greater as it is over or under the fixed probe measurement
Yup great suggestion! some research I did suggested that and I have been transisitioning to more of a bloom nutrient feeding over the last week. This last feeding I cut the nitrogen by about half and next feeding will be a bit more and more of a early to mid bloom nutrient recipe. Clara my one that is flowering is going to need them anyway. I sure hope it helps. River has been looking like she really wants to flower all week but can’t seem to stop stretching, which in turn makes me have to man handle her a bit and bend down the obscenely long branches. My next tent is going to be over 6’ tall!!!Try cutting the nitrogen a bit to help induce flowering.
I'm designing a new 4x4 floor to ceiling. My Durbans like to really reach for the roof.Ye

Yeah I feel any elbow room is a good thing. Right now I cannot for the life of me get to the back of the tent to defoliate or do anything lol. But that extra vertical space would be so handy. I mean if this 2.3x2.3 was like 6.5feet tall it would be perfect for me. That being said I think I’m going to go 4x4 since my light can cover that pretty easily and as tall as I can get it to stil fit in the basement at about 7+ foot ceilings.I'm designing a new 4x4 floor to ceiling.
