I like to do things right, and I have been giving them lots of love. I also understand that I have a decent knowledge of growing plants for fruit and veg, but no experience at all with growing buds. With all the work to date it is nice to know some people with experience have my back. Trying to minimise the beginner mistakes!Having a red hot go Cobba nice grow indeed . Od .
Thanks @_VLAD_ I have a few different set ups with pot size and scrog screens. Will post some comparison posts in the future and hopefully be able to compare yields at the endThose look amazing, im interested to see where this goes
Thanks. Happy with progress to date, but honestly I'm still a little nervous about making it through unscathed. Mother nature can be a fickle mistress.Healthy, happy plants! Nice work
Especially outdoors! Best of luckThanks. Happy with progress to date, but honestly I'm still a little nervous about making it through unscathed. Mother nature can be a fickle mistress.
"I read somewhere that a beginner can reasonably expect 100g per plant so I planted 7." Best line I've read and made me lol.Whoa, I wasn't expecting that much. I read somewhere that a beginner can reasonably expect 100g per plant so I planted 7. If I end up with anywhere near 500g per plant I will be cross eyed for a month after harvest
Wasn't meant to be funny at the time but reading it back, it made me giggle. Glad you got a laugh. There was some method in there - I estimated 2 grams per day for the year, hoping that I could cure and freeze the buds to make them last. But in hindsight, if I am looking at a few hundred grams per plant"I read somewhere that a beginner can reasonably expect 100g per plant so I planted 7." Best line I've read and made me lol.
Your going to be cross eyed for a good 2 to 3 months if you keep doing what you're doing.
Hi there, all is looking good !!Some of the pistils started turning brown this week so I wanted to have a good look at the trichomes. I know it's still early but this is all new to me so gotta get learning. Had a look through my jewelers loupe and I think there are some cloudy trichomes but mostly clear. Bloody tricky to get a good look at them while still on the plant so I cut a small bud. These are the best pics I could get, so I will keep practicing. Am I right saying the trichomes are mostly clear?

Looking good, glad to see someone growing in soil.Hi everyone,
First time grower and new member. I'm late to join the party (my plants will start flowering soon) but I have been watching from the shadows for some time.
I have 5 Blueberry and 2 Gelat OG grown from feminised seeds from Seedsman. Growing outdoors in pots, 60% potting mix 40% perlite. Up to this point I have only used kelp and fish emulsions, and a fortnightly drink of worm juice.
Here are some pics of one of my Blueberry girls. I don't have any from early on because I wasn't keeping a diary, but I've finally started. I think she is going well but it's my first grow, so I wouldn't know for sure. View attachment 1080298View attachment 1080300
