I havnt been watering to the point of run off the past couple weeks and 2/3rd strength

I was always taught for container growing with soil or other mediums to always water til runoff. Reason being is it helps rinse some of the salt buildup from the rootzone.
Now I don't grow in buckets anymore...my outdoor are right in the ground so there's no measuring runoff. My indoor are all DWC. Did soil indoors a cpl times and it's so much more stressful with pests alone that I said screw it for a long time until I picked back up hydro

I was but i was running into an overwatering problem

I think theyve out grown their 5 gallon huckets i ordereded 10gal smart pots. Would it be unwise to transplant being a week and a half into flower?

On those buckets, do they have any drainage holes in or near the bottoms? No way for anything to drain out or any oxygen to help evaporate some of that water they've been getting.
Just my preference but pics just at lights out makes it much easier to detect anything amiss with your grow, (file for future pics).
Good luck with your grow.

I have holes drilled about every 3 inches on the bottom an various other drainage holes drilled on the lower half of the buckets

Theyve been going dry every other or every third day getting a gallon at each watering

All good, I just missed the pic you had showing one of the bucket bases with the holes.

So whatcha think transplant when the new pots on wednesday or would that be to stressful

Went ahead and transplanted em into 10 gal smart pots. Hoping it will do more good than harm to the plant
