So I am very pleased with what I see I topped plants yesterday and took off leaves from one I topped. I also lifted the lights some. And today they look like they didnt even miss a beat. I must say in my eyes they are looking great. The sacks on the bottom are nice and dry soil in the pots are drying nice and evenly. Also I ended up doing a light feeding on the 8th I guess I wanna learn what my plants can take. So I added some pics hope you guys can see the growth and where I topped.

Honestly they look great for a first time grower in my opinion. Especially considering you're running CFL's.

I know you didn't ask for lighting suggestions but;
This is a reasonably priced light that performs really well for the cost and the size i just got one to use as supplemental lighting along side my 300 watt LED in my tent and i love it.

Granted you could get a @MarsHydroLED TS600W for the price of 2 of these and get 4X the light out of it but if you're on a shoestring budget like i am this little 150 will do the trick for now and you can keep adding them as you go and the plants require more light but if you keep all those plants you're definitely going to need more light.

This light can replace a traditional 150W HPS/MH lamp while consuming only 27W total, saving energy up to 40%!
Provides equal amount of lumens as a 150W incandescent bulb
You can do much better.

I’m sure he can. I just figured I’d share my experience with someone else that seems like he might need something similar. I took a chance and bought this dinky little thing and it actually performs as it says it will. So like I said, There are way better options out there but if you need light now and can’t or don’t have time to save. This little rinky dink light isn’t a bad investment.

What lights are they? Also, IMO those pots are too small. I'd have to up pot to 3gal pots for flowering.

Yeah I kinda felt like it may be time to move them. But not sure if I should leave a lil longer to establish good roots. And as far as the lights I added pics of what I got. They should be set up tomorrow.

I thought this might be helpful to those wondering when to transplant. The object is to fill the pot with as much dense roots as possible. For potting soil a good dry cycle after saturating the pots insures the roots will branch out and search for moisture and nutrients. If too wet all the time they would mostly wrap around the outsidenof a hard nursery pot like this.

So im patient and this plant has been in the 1 gallon nursery pot for more than 3 weeks in this pic. I moved her up to 3 gallons soon after.

The soft pots are supposed to help with the root branching by air pruning and should easily hold the same size plant if not bigger.

Hope I didnt mis post here. Everyone asks this question. This is just how i do it.

sounds good. If you are unsure when to feed measure the ec (ppm .5) of the runoff. I do it each time to see it go up or downnover time and make feed corrections. But i feed most every watering once the soil is depleted under the 2 HPS lamps. Just feed less at a time. If i put 1.0 in and get back 1.6 or more its time to run some water only through in my room. And then feed after with like .8 to be sure they dont burn but have enough.

Nice. Look pretty good. Strong. Definitely cut back on whatever they are getting. The dark leaves and wrinkles and upturned edges up top closer to the lamp are sure signs of nute stress. Just too much in the medium for the conditions.

Yeah I need to get that meter to check that. I know you guys have said with the soil I am using i dont need to feed just yet. But I've only feed twice and I'm talking both were very light feedings. Nothing crazy just mixed in a gallon of water and lowered ph with some juice from a limon. We give people out here water at ph 7.0. And fees then next time I've watred.

First hand experience is always good... As is the info you have received. But when ya see it first hand it's much easier to believe and sticks in the brain forever. Sometimes ya just gotta fuck something up so you know ... Not that you fucked up your plant here just in general. I spent my lifetime learning the hard way... But I sure have a lot that's stuck with me. Think they call that experience. Btw looking good for first grow under the conditions you have. Now whens that light coming lol
