Whats up guys. I've been growing for a short time now, and have hand watered the entire time. Due to work reasons I've had to be out of town more than I would prefer so I was forced to either, A) force my partner to water my plants, or B)setup autowatering. I noticed there really isn't much information online overall about autowatering setups and the ones that do exist, no offense, look like a mess. I knew I wanted pvc for reliability concerns, but couldn't find anyone with a build I envisioned so I wanted to share mine for anyone that wants to build off of my idea. This is what I ended up building after finding a company that sells pvc attachments with a kit to make everything easy, "Thebucketcompany". In the future I might be interested in upping the container size, but that would require installing some sort of check valve at the pump T to break the siphon when the pump is off and I wanted to keep things very simple(no moving parts). Pump is 1/5hp(overkill, may swap for smaller pump), pvc is 1in low pressure pipe. Bucket company mini bubbler ring kits and pvc elbows with 1/2" mpt also from TBC. I'll have to do something soon for runoff but that will be later this week. Thanks for checking it out, feel free to offer advice I'm open to learning new things and rebuilding. I'm no plumber that is for sure! Lol.
