I used neem spray from dyna gro for several years as a prevention. Last year or so I had a thrip infestation. I doubled down on my neem spraying and messed around and used too much. It clogged the leaf stigma and "burnt" my leaves bad. I had to rinse and rinse and rinse to get it off , and the plants recovered quickly. Just go light at first, and never get carried away like I did.

I did mention about over use. It will turn your plants black if you get crazy with it huh

I would also recommend if your using baking soda to neutralize the pm. Clean it off well ,cause I'm.not sure how the neem.Will like sitting on top of it
