I'll keep a real close eye on them once I switch to 12/12, for sure, and I do have a bottle of Cal Mag nutes if needed, so I should be set if any issues arise!

Now, just keeping an eye on the girls as they grow up, just waiting for the time to pass!!

I was going to suggest adding some Back Strap Molasses but see that your using Flora Nectar. When you go to bloom and they start to stretch to flower out is when they will need the most nutes and about the time that they have used up all of the nutrients in the Ocean Forest. I think the only other supplement you should consider is Magnesium. I use General Organics CalMag+. It has a 0-0-0 NPK value. Or consider Epson Salts.

Interesting how they've gotten real fat and plump in the few days since topping! Man those few days of delay in vertical growth have really gotten these girls fluffed up and all hot an bothered! .........Oh, dude, and weird!! On one of them, right where I had topped, a little pistil grew and stuck itself out! Wow, so cool!! Guess the girl's a girl!! Can't wait to have those growing everywhere! ........maybe a little longer still until I switch to 12/12 though...........

......................Boy oh boy! They sure did appreciate their watering! Girls lookin real good!! ........Keeping an eye on their height this week, they're growing real fast, like never before! Thinking of going this last one more full week, then switching to 12/12 this weekend..............maybe need to clean up/trim a bit of the littler growth underneath the main canopy............will think on it............

They look ready to flip! As far as defoliation. I would let them go a good week to ten days in bloom. After they start to stretch some will show what really needs to be removed. On the first run of a plant I usually first just remove the main fan leaves from all of the nodes that have not started alternation. Then I thin as needed to not cover bud sites and maintain proper light through the whole plant.

I switched the light from 20/4 to 18/6 last night, and I'm thinking tonight/tomorrow I'll make the switch to 12/12!

................Yes! Here we go!!!

Gave the girls a good 12 hours of darkness last night, so the lights came on around 1pm today so they'll only get ~6hrs light today, and I'll put them into real 12/12 time tonight!!

........Made some adjustments to the lights also, moved the T5s completely vertical, pushed against the side of the tent, and moved the HPS up and centered, and moved the plants over a little, so they got as much room to stretch now as possible. Will just be looking to raise the lights every now and then.

The ladies needed a good watering too, so did that, and lets go girls! Lets begin those buds!!

damn those girls have grown! I remember when they were just poking up from the soil, they grow up so fast :cry: lol
Sorry I haven't been around much, My Mom got sick again (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) so the last month or two I've been pretty busy and life has been hectic! Good to see @Orcaman stepped in while I was gone, He's helped me out a few times, always has good advice. There seems to be alot more growers here to help than to troll, unlike other forums. Hell, I dont even bother looking at reddit because... well im sure you've seen the immature comments and insult slinging there and with some other forums.

Mom came home from the hospital a week or two ago, and life is finally getting back to normal... I really want to find some cbd for my mom, but its hard to find anything that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

And geez, yeah! These girls have gotten real big!! Once I transplanted them into bigger pots, and also added the second light, they really started to beast up!

And for sure! All the people here on the THCFarm are super helpful, and especially thank god for @Orcaman!!, you all have been a real good resource!! Thank you!! I've read through some other places also, but man this one's quite a gem!!!

So, I guess today is technically day 1 of flower! Yay! And we got some little pistils already! Mainly up around where I topped them, and the growth since then...................interesting!.......but hopefully, the little buds be startin from every which way soon!! Ya!!

Congrats on getting through to your first day of flower! Yeah this place is a gem indeed! Like you, I've been through other forums... LOTS of other forums lol I joined a few, lurked around a couple, but nowadays I dont bother with any of the other sites aside from DudeGrows.com, They got a great podcast too, other than that I got sick of the drama and bad advice being given out around other forums... most threads turned into a pissing contest by the second page lol

Glad I could help you out, Hombre! Learning to grow and read your plants can be quite the journey! The way I see it, when I was starting out or running into problems, people around here and a couple other forums were right there to help and happy to do it! Now that I've got a few years and a decent amount of growing under my belt, I'm able to spread what I've learned from others here and from personal experience. My way of paying it forward when I can, I guess. I actually have made a habit of looking throught the unanswered thread section to see if I can help anyone out.

Now that your in flower, the real fun and interesting stuff can begin!

YEAH YEAH!! It's kind of amazing the way plants shoot when they switch to flower. I remember people telling me to plan on the plant doubling or tripling in size. I was thinking "they must be exaggerating."... they weren't lol My first hydro run I had to cut off a couple colas because there wasn't any more room for em to grow and my light was literally as high as I could get it, I even took out the rope ratchets lol Those are the things that made me start paying a little more attention and planning ahead a lil better... Experience is the best teacher... Especially if the experience hurts haha
