Looks like good things are starting to happen here! :D
I like those coco bales. I believe it takes about 3 gallons to hydrate it.@justiceman. How much water should I add? 5 kg bale.
Those bales are some of the finest quality IMO. I've never gotten a bad bale from botanicare. It being compressed is a plus because it stops the aging and won't come with pests. It's also a lot easier to transport/carry dry bales. Thanks, I think this is how I'll get my coco for a while it is a pretty good deal. Couple times ago I went to the Hydro store and they were out of canna so I went to Home Depot and got some black magic. I liked it but I kinda want to ditch the perlite and it has a lot. I ended up buying the canna and mixing it 50/50 with the black magic and still a lot of perlite.
Just a guess but its approx 65 to 70 liters and its about 4 liters per gallon. I'm thinking 15 to 20 depending on how much you fill them. How much does 5 kilos come out to in gallon pots?

Yeah enforcer!!!Healthy roots! Good work!
That's the beauty of coco. Once you start feeling like you can do 2 feeds a day you can just go for it. A much better idea than keeping it to 1 feed a day while letting the bigger ones dry out too much.Cheers flyingj!
I'm starting to wonder when I should go to two feeds per day. I think the bigger ones can handle it
