The smoke report on the 9 week Hippy Slayer is this: This stuff is wonderful. We smoked 3 cones of her at the bar while seeing a band called Soap - check them out. They are fun. The buzz was goofy as hell, giggly, made me not care that I dance like an old white guy and had me thinking I would be dancing better if i was naked, but I refrained. LOL. We finished the last cone at 130 in the morning. I floated home (this is great road trip smoke, btw) and went to bed. When I woke up at 10 the next morning, I was still baked. And I mean the same goofy, giggly, fun baked i was the night before. I didn't feel sober until 1 that afternoon. Let's just say I am very happy.
The 10 week Hippy Slayer has everyone loving it. I'll be sampling her tonight.
Here's a shot of the flower room. My attempt at actually have a canopy under the horizontal light. The canopy is Skywalker Kush. There's a funky DSD in front. She stayed wet a bit too long so I let her dry out and now she's hungry. I fed her this morning.
The lone plant top pic is a DSD over by the big light
the micro shots are hippy slayer at 11 weeks. This should be interesting smoke - i hope
the DWC Blackberry Kush is looking pretty good. She a touch hungry so I will up her nutes a bit. She's been in the flower room for almost a week

the 4 hippy slayer girls yielded almost 18 zips, not bad for 3 gallon grow bags. I'm pretty happy.
The 11 week Hippy slayer is pretty heavy in the head, yet doesn't taste overripe yet,. I'm fairly impressed with this girl. Personally, I think the sweet spot is 10 weeks, maybe a couple days before.

I swapped out the 400 watt mH in the veg roo for the 1K watt MH. I also potted up a few girls in veg yesterday. The next run will have a little bit of everything - DSD, Skywalker, Hippy Slayer, old school Kali Mist (watch out for this girl - she's going to be a beast), Blackberry Kush, Blue Mystic, and coming up will be the LA Confidential, Clementine and D-Con.
I topped the Cali-O x Starfighter and the tops will hopefully be rooted by next week. I'm really looking forward to having the indicas going again. The sativas I've been running do nothing for helping me get good sleep.

update: things are turning a bit jungly over here at the Freakshow
The blackberry Kush in the Hydro bucket is cruising right along. changed her bucket out yesterday. She's almost 30 days in
The Skywalkers are getting unruly.
The DSD is getting down right greasy. I so love this strain.
I put 4 C99 x Starfighter into flower about a week and a half ago. They are on the left side of the big light
and the Cali O x Starfighter tops have all rooted and were potted up last night.
I'm poppingt a few more DSD beans looking for males for a preservation project.
I'll be popping a couple Long Bottom Leaf to give her a try too.
and then the William's Wonder F2's sent to me from Woodhorse seeds to do another seed project and preserve that strain. i'll pop all of those beans looking for a keeper and males.
then it's off to the ECSD project - Reservoir's Sour Diesel IBL preservation project. This may have to wait til next fall. But I should be able to fit the Chemdog (again, Reservoir) preservation in with the Sour D.
to much to do, not enough time or space.

wow, this Hippy Slayer is incredible. Smoke a j with friend while watching football at a bar this afternoon. Got high as hell, came home crashed on the couch for a while - fell into a coma is more like it, and woke up still wrecked.

so i better get this preservation project started. I dropped 5 Double Strawberry Diesel backcross 1 (made these about 4 years ago) beans into started plugs last night. These will be crossed to my mom and the pheno a friend of mine has out in San Fran, which he sent me a clone. I'll pop beans from this and cross them back to the 2 moms in order to make sure the strain is kept alive.
I also dropped 3 Long Bottom Leaf into p[lug as well. I couldn't help myself.

the Blackberry hydro girl is rockin it out. I'm pretty happy with her. Ppms are around 1500 and she looks happy. She's at 4 weeks today.
I have 2 LBL and 4 DSD babies above groumd. Not sure what happened to the 3rd LBL so I may drop another.
LA Confiential #1 is a confirmed female, as is the D-Con. Not sure about the Clementines yet. The Top from the been taken and put in damp coco and will hopefully root by this time next week.
The C99 x Starfighter are getting their buds. I really like the structure of this first one though
and this is a Skywalker Kush due to come down next week.

oh yes, my puppies are my spoiled children now that my son is grown and moved out. My chocolate lab loves weed. My boxer/pit mutt does not. Both love eating fan leaves but won't touch the plants. They only eat the leaves i give them. Love my dogs

OK, 3 skywalkers are down. Sampled some Saturday night and WOW. Such an enjoyable strain. The smell and flavor is all skunk. The oily skunk flavor coats your mouth with each hit. The buzz was perfect - not too heavy, not too heady, not too lite, just right. We went to a 10 bucks for 4 bars fundraiser Saturday night put on by the local funk and soul coalition. Needless to so Skywalker Kush was the perfect smoke for dancing the night away and hitting that groove. fun stuff.
