The smoke report on the 9 week Hippy Slayer is this: This stuff is wonderful. We smoked 3 cones of her at the bar while seeing a band called Soap - check them out. They are fun. The buzz was goofy as hell, giggly, made me not care that I dance like an old white guy and had me thinking I would be dancing better if i was naked, but I refrained. LOL. We finished the last cone at 130 in the morning. I floated home (this is great road trip smoke, btw) and went to bed. When I woke up at 10 the next morning, I was still baked. And I mean the same goofy, giggly, fun baked i was the night before. I didn't feel sober until 1 that afternoon. Let's just say I am very happy.

The 10 week Hippy Slayer has everyone loving it. I'll be sampling her tonight.

Here's a shot of the flower room. My attempt at actually have a canopy under the horizontal light. The canopy is Skywalker Kush. There's a funky DSD in front. She stayed wet a bit too long so I let her dry out and now she's hungry. I fed her this morning.

the DWC Blackberry Kush is looking pretty good. She a touch hungry so I will up her nutes a bit. She's been in the flower room for almost a week

bare with me, I've still got a headful of acid from seeing star wars last night in 3D. It's an annual event now. The movie was so much better than the last one.

the dwc bucket experiment is drawing to a close. I have a much better idea on how nutrient strength now. Another Blackberry is being strarted tonight in a new bucket. The excess nutes (Nitrogen) made some tiny buds on this giurl. she's kind pretty though. I'm starting her flush a but early, well, for obvious reasons.



I also have 2 different Double Strawberry Diesel pheno's that just hit the flower room ina side by side grow comparison. I shared a few seeds with a buddy in San Fran. He found this girl and it's the only plant he's been growing for 2-3 years now. He was kind enough to send a clone so i can check her out.

New HPS bulbs arrived today too, so this next grow should have tighter buds. I've been pretty broke and running the horizontal light on a used bulb when the one in that fixture blew a month ago.

its cool to watch but in terms of ur own personal health and like party games ur better off trading cash for weed.

i can grow for cash but i have nicer 'ride' if i pay for weed grown by other people. idk how to say that to you in respectful way or to myself. lol.

you have to plan for over a full life time first and not just around certain age groups or spending limits.

thank you so much. She's one of my spoiled children now that my son is grown and gone off into the world. I can't wait to taste this Blackberry. She smells sooooo sweet. Gonna roll one to share with friends tomorrow night. Good jamgrass band is at a local bar. This blackberry should do the trick for that party

3 were short, squat and full of buds. The 4th was tall, a bit stretchy and had some golf balls for buds. The 4th smelled exactly like the Grail. The others smelled like the Grail too, but not like the 4th one. I'm not finished with the 4th one yet. The other three took me 5 hours to trim whit my spin pro. They were literally nothing but buds, from meristem to tip.
below are some pics that show why I LOVE my big vertical light. These branches were were growing within six inches or so of the level of the substrate in the pot. These branches would normally be trimmed off early in flower so the plant would concentrate it's growth on the top branches. I've always thought this was such a waste - creating this empty space. With the vertical light, the plant makes beautiful buds from top to bottom. The 4th plant will come down tonight

the very last pic show the branch, and the spot on the meristem where i ripped the branch from it. It's literally about 2 inches from ground level. Show me an LED that can do that.

I'll be setting up a 4th light in the flower room. My veg room has become so overgrown in trying to get plants into flower to help Joe and plants for see project and PJ's Cali O test, that I have no more room.

Well the Grail (C99) dominent girl i sampled yesterday definitely got some attention. She tasted like fresh squeezed limes - sweet fresh limes. Wow. after 2 hits i get a permagrin and start giggling. Felt like my eyes were being pulled, not painfully so, further into my head. The buzz was contemplative, mischievous - this stuff could hatch the plot to overthrow the world. Potential for lots of philosophy to spew. We only took about 4 hits each off that J and put it out. good stuff

the LA in Flower (down to 1 fem and 2 males - strain preservation project in the works) and i am loving the structure of this girl. She's making beautiful golf ball buds everywhere. She stretched perfectly. The tops of her buds hit right about the middle of the upper HPS bulb in the cool tube. I put her up on the light stand so y'all can get an idea of her size. the cool tube is 4 feet tall.

no. The 8 bulb fixtures i have have 2 switches, each switch turns on 4 bulbs.


here's some trich porn. I was hoping she'd be ready by today (Frida), but she's pretty Sativa dominant and there's too many clear trichs still. I'll trim a branch to get a goo dtsate but the rest of the plant will wait a few days. The other three will wait at least another week

I'm flattered. I use an 18 megapixel digital SLR camera = Canon Rebel T2i and for the trich shots I use a digital lcd screen microscope (about a hundred bucks from B&H photo). For photo editing, I use Photoshop CS6 and strip the camera data with a mac program called Photoprivacy.

smoked some DSD and some Skywalker last night at a concert with a few friends. Well the new phenotype of DSD is off the hook. So happy to have her in my stable. Wow! Such a fun buzz. The perfect blend of ECSD and KK Strawberry Cough.

the Skywalker, we only made through 1/2 a j of the Skywalker before everyone said, oh I'm beyond good. put that away.

The LA Seed project will begin this coming week.The William's Wonder beans will be popped as well, along wiht a couple more DSD bx beans to find a male. I have 8 LA confidential girls potted up in coco. The next round under the horizontal 1K will be 4 Blackberry Kush and 2 DSD. I find myself actually preferring the DSD analog sent me, but I will finish these girls out. People have begun to ask about it, "Hey ya got any more of that DSD? That shit was really good." So I may just keep both pheno's around for a minute. The bitch is I have 3 more females to test out too.

I rolled a cone of Hippy Slayer, a cone of Kali mist and a J of Skywalker last night. Smoked all of them with friends except for a third o The Skywalker. That was when everyone said, Dude, put that shit away, we;re more than good. I headed home a couple hours later and found I was having trouble driving. I pulled into a truck stop and slept in my car for about 3 hours. Woke up, drove the rest of the way home and went right to bed. Woke up at 9 this morning still buzzed. I certainly hope and pray that whatever I am doing to grow buds this potent and long lasting doesn't stop - ever. I'm not necessarily a light weight. I've even taken to doing a dab or two on occasion lately. I've never grown weed that lasted this long. Life is definitely good.

note: it's now 15 hours later and I am still buzz'd
