so 50 ish maybe. its gona get hotter later in the week but yea the day i wana plant my babies the temps dropped out on me its aight tho like i said for my first grow im stoked about these two!

we get weird swings in texas . It’ll be 50 one day and 107 the next. Like wtf Texas , smoke a joint and get ur bi-polar temps under wraps!

Update : Organic grow number one officially has taken off and i am stoked for another great day with these ladies. Two more came out from below to say hello and they are comming out nice n strong i think. The soil is still moist to the touch. been three days since i watered. gona wait one or two more days for water. getting some bigger pots and better soil with some worm castings soon. maybe a grow tent. but yea this grow so far has turned out great!

first gal is Super silver haze second and third are Durban Poison and last is Tropicana grapefruit. The ladies are getting sun a cool 71* with fair wind. wont water till tommorrow i think.

update: Its been 8 days since i popped my babies. At first i thought we had one as a goner because my dog tipped the pot over and all the medium fell out and i just scooped it up. i left it in the pot not thinking nothing about it just RIP little seedling. And then four gals popped their heads up and i was born a cultivator on Feb 13 2023. Its been 8 days and just the other day Mrs RIP came back to life! so we have our 5 beans we popped! A member suggested me adding soil near the base and outwards because the gals apparently release a hormone that makes em stretch for the sun so its stalk wasnt supported as much. So i listened and added more medium. If i have a question its When to use food or nutes or whatever. Im doing an organic grow because of budget but i may have a new @PhlizonGrowLight here soon amd im
going to put these babies under the light and im going to try and treat these gals correct. If anyone knows any organic tips or ANY tips at all for these ladies please gimme a hollar! my questions are as follows : What nutes can i give for organic growing? and i mean like willow wood water? or Blackstrap molasses? maybe urine? i heard its loaded with Nitro.
question #2 : When do i know that they ran out of food? my understanding is that the seed has enough food for a
few weeks? maybe months? so im seeing how long i can go so i can save for better nutes and buy them. But in case i dont get that far im starting a swamp water thing but its slow in the making.

Any and all help is thankfully appreciated. And if you see something out of whack let me know! im still learning and all criticism is very welcome… im new to growing so the name of this thread is me gowing down a Deep rabbit hole lol

You'll know they've ran out of food when you start to see yellowing leaves or other deficiencies. How long that takes depends completely on what soil you use. If you're really trying to save on a budget I know I've heard of banana teas as one idea.

so my soil is deplete from a backyard garden. its just the soil i beleive now but im trying to give it what it needs until i can buy some food for it that will last me. Should be here in a week or so but i duno but i dont want them to die on me. I have bad anxiety and the thought of em dieing cuz of no nutes has me anxiety thru the roof but i cant do nothin about it im trying a swamp water thing i saw on youtube.

They look healthy at the moment. At this stage you shouldn't need to give them anything. I think you will be ok for atleast a week or more.

so day fourteen or so in my grow and i notice some discoloring on the tip of one of the leaves. my house is a cool 75 degrees cuz its hot where im at but ingive my fals sun light in the morning and afternoon. I want to transplant but am afraid that they are still too young. plus im only fed them twice both tap water. I got the fox farm dirty dozen so ill be feeding with those nutes here soon. Im making room in my shed for the @PhlizonGrowLight i was kindly gifted so it will be incorporated into this grow too. If anyone has tips or pointers for this first time grower plz stop by and say hi.

Seventeen days into the grow and the new light from @PhlizonGrowLight arrived just as advertised. I was at work geeked when the Wifey txted talkin bout a surprise package. So i got home and checked on the gals and i saw that they might need support. Going through pictures here on the farm i saw different types of support. I took ties from my bread loafs and used two of em. I need more bread lol. But all in all i Beleive and thats a BiG Beleive that they are discoloring? I havent fed any nutes and i used backyard soil from past gardening endeavors. I am purchasing distilled water as the fertilizers from fox farm might react with the chemicals from the tap water. I cant measure EC because i dont know how and I cant measure PH because i need to buy a PH meter. So im going blind on the EC and PH but i think i can measure my PPM and im using sunlight from East Southeast directions. im waiting for the soil to dry out a little more so i can start half the recommended dosage of nutes. Less is more or something like that. Read it somehwhere here on the farm I thunk. So yeah all in all this biscuit is cookin and im trying to butter em up here soon. do they look healthy? should i do something different? I plan on moving them to a shower we dont use. Cant buy mylar or a tent so im going with black yard bags , can of spray glue and some cheap aluminum foil paper . Well here are the pictures.

If you're growing in your tub and it's a flat white it should reflect well without garbage bags and foil. Becareful with nutrients these are still very young.

think i should water with distilled water only still?? im doing half the nutrients cuz i read they can burn the roots. Im still trying to fogure out if i put em all in one gallon or if i make a gallon for each nutrient and mix in a cup equal parts….

I've always used water from my well and never had an issue. I'm not sure on how your particular nutrients are mixed.

18 ish days in and they finally going under a grow light in my closet. slowly but surely getting everything in order. im saving for some fans and an exhaust fan too then the humidity thing. This rabbit hole is getting interesting. No grow tent No problem! Its my first grow and i think tommorrow will be their first feeding with nutrients at half strength.Gona be doing 18/6 for now till vegetative stage. If im wrong let me know all criticism is openly accepted. keep in mind im on a budget so doing things as i go.

Good Mornin to all my growers. Today I woke excited for the first feeding of the girls. I only fed them half the recommended dosage. I noticed some tip shrivel or burning and i think it is because of lack of nutrients plus i wanted the soil to dry off a bit before i fed. One thing im worried about is root rot and tip burning. Im still new to this so im slowly getting all my weapons. Cal mag deficiency is something im not familiar with but i think the nutrients i gave the plants wich is Fox farms Big bloom, Kangaroots and Boomerang are the best i can do right now. I’m stoked I’ve even reached this far into the grow. If they die well im tryin my best lol. I have them raised off the ground in a tub apparatus so the run off can be gathered and trashed i beleive. got em on 18/6 as far as i can do it because i have no timer so its manually. So here are the pics.

23 days or so into my grow. One durban poison died on me and two have minor leaf tip burn. im not experienced so i dont know how to diagnose but i gave them their first feeding of Fox farm nutes , only half a dose. Watering with distilled water only. got a usb desk fan for my ventilation. Only until i buy the exhaust. im shopping for a nice tent or mylar to make my own space. so far a few leafs. they look spectacular. Im just going with the flow. lights turn on at 7 am and stop at 12am. no timer so im all manual with the alarm clocks notifying me lol. my first grow and i see progress.

well nothing but i didnt use miracle grow. i used backyard boogie soil from last years flower garden. Distilled water is what im using and now i switched to a @PhlizonGrowLight . Im usuing Fox Farms nutrients and just gave them their first feeding two days ago. Today im going to water them with no nutes. Its my first grow so im winging it lol.

oh man you serious? one plant already died on me but i think because of the soil or maybe i duno. One dead Four alive n kickin. Been two days since i fed em they look like they drunk redbull they growin wings! but ill take your advice seriously . just water then??
