Good strains

Why do people act so stingy when it comes to giving them out? I thought the whole point of making a strain was so everybody can enjoy it? It seems like people will sell bs clones all day but nobody will come off cuttings of the big dog. I do understand why they wont I am sure everybody has their own reasons but on some real shit the whole I am handcuffing this strain shit is super gay you guys need to stop being so greedy. The green thumb gives you your leading edge not the strain. If your worried about too many people having your weed you shouldn't be cuz chances are you probably grow it better anyway. Plus if your selling it you already got a shitload of loyal customers that will buy whatever you come with. Who cares if someone slaughters your strain if your people that's dropping you thousands for your shit know yours is that crack then you still got your corner locked down they ain't going nowhere else unless you run out. Even then as soon as you get back on they are still coming back until you run out again. I'm just saying... quit being stingy with those special strains.

when people do this they are risking loosing the strain that they are greedily keeping. If you have a one of a kind strain in your hydro setup and you over fertalize or spring a leak when your outta town or your a.c. go's down and your lights fry your plants or get a bad infestation of insects that destroy your plant, and you lose your beloved strain. then thats your own dumb ass fault . Dont keep all your eggs in one basket ! do you think that o.g. would be so popular if it was never released to the masses. some of the most popular strains are the ones that are consistently available.
If these people instead of working hard to keep thier strain on lock, worked hard on balancing genetics and releasing seeds to sell and getting mindblowing samples to clubs and well known people who do strain reviews. then your hard work could pay off. Just look at the cost of 10 seeds here on the farm you could get 10 seeds in a gram of pollinated bud easily the value of the gram is about 20 bucks, but the value of 10 seeds could be $100 +. Im not good at math but this is a no brainer. If your sittin on that killer strain and dont share .. your only hurting yourself in the long run .

thats not how it works fellaz. i love coke but if i call them there is no way in hell they are gonna give me the recipe. good strains to get shared by EVERYONE with there close small circle of friends. iv been gifted some pretty good stuff and been told not to pass her around. there is a such thing as backing her up with a close buddy and tossing her around like a hooker.

call it greed if you will, but i look more at people that insist they should have whatever they want as greed. i had to work to get what i have, as did most everyone that has anything worth while. weather u pheno hunted a pack or 10 packs, or u had to meet people and talk to them for a while and network....work was done and time was put in.

this is a topic that has been debated for a long time and im almost sure there is a few threads on this already....why focus the hate on not being able to get said cutting and work on networking and getting positive things done.
i truly hope everyone gets what they want one day but i dont think this is the way to do it nor is it gonna help at all....one love ~SMF~

its all karma. all strain hoarders end up on the shit end of the stick in the long run and all the kind hearted people always end up with the fire. you can always tell who the hoarders are too because they are the first to defend their ways and they brag about the shit they have even if it isnt legit ... i have aquired a nice strain library over the years and share my cuts with all kind hearted people who show just as much interest in the plant as i do. keep your head up bro and dont let the hoarders get you down. the fire is out there you just have to meet someone as cool as you.

so if somebody gives me a cut under conditions that I keep it for myself and not "whore" it out and I agree to that then its bad karma for me?

i simply said it is all karma which in simple words means what goes around comes around, what i was implying was that if someone is hoarding a strain then it will probally be done to them

it sounds to me like someone had a bad experience tryin to get a cut I was simply trying to make him feel better and not give up on the battle

there's no reason to give a cut to someone you don't know. if you were friends with someone that had the cuts you wanted you wouldnt even have posted this thread, cuz you would have the cuts. so here lies the dilemma, you need to make friends with people 1st not just say hey whats up run your cuts. as you get to know more and more people in this game you will have all the cuts you want. just takes time if your a cool dude im sure within 6 months to a year you will have anything you want.

that was just un called for.....i dont think things need to get violent on boards to get your message across. there are decent ways to handle a debate and straight up wrong ways....that was a wrong way. also to talk to a respected member of the farm like that when you are a new comer is NOT the way to get things that you want. when we said network we meant start good relationships with people, def not threaten to break down doors to get what you want.
