actually grams per watt is a problem because no strain is the same. Some plants are naturally better yielders than others. If g/w is so important to u, it would behoove u to grow what the cash croppers grow. Many of the, shall we say, elite strains do not yield very well at all.

if i was you i would get my wallet out and scrape enough together to get a mantis shade with 600w sunmaster hps, my first time with zero experience i got 950g with 1200w light giving me just under 0.8 per watt, hoping to hit 1.2 this time and things are looking good.
