Good times.

Oh yes. A friend of 45 plus years is visiting. We are going to the Neil young show Red Rocks next Thur...
He grew up in Portola valley we would hit felt almost daily during summer and swim naked with Stanford hotties..
We were just talking about Felt, camped out one night, would swim to tower with cooler full of beer and lots of joints.
Helicopter would often chase us out..
Story..
Had a 61 Falcon wagon. Off we went with full cooler of tall coors cans.
Got to lake helicopter hovered over us telling us we were trespassing and get out.
My friend threw his towel in the air, no way close to heli, but surely they did not like.
Were drove 285 exited Woodside road headed to RWC, my home town, and got pulled over by the 3 sheriff cars. Was a hot day we were sipping frosty cold ones so could nit hide the beers.
My friend George was a Woodside boy, Richie, the cops knew his family so they let us go even though no registration, expired tags open containers no drivers license, roaches in ashtray. They poured out the open beers and one even took a sip...LOL...
Also friend was talking about rattlesnake hill just today.. Shrooming and saw a rattler...
Windy Hill, tripping in the woods La Honda, San Gregario beach, Half oon Bay, Pete's Harbor, The Tannery, Wodside bowl, Sneaking into Crystal springs Res fishing, The Woodside Plaza, all stomping grounds...
If you grew up in the area one thing you should know....
All A Kazee,
All A Kazam,
Son of bitch,
God Dam,
Horse's ass,
Cow's Tittie,
We are the Boys,
Of Redwood City,
Duck Butter...

HOLY FUCKING LOVEBOAT hahahahaha!

That stadium was SO MASSIVELY FILLED and HUGE!
Fucking thing looked like the love boat from above...

At the AMC movie co's crossed the country they streamed
this HISTORIC EVENT LIVE!!

WHAT A GREAT 3 DAY TRIP FRIENDS...............................
smile.gif

me and my friends TRIPPED BALLZ in the theater and boy
TREY ANASTASIA was absolutely AMAZING to say the least!
that man only had 3 months to practice for the show folks..
he is 1 GREAT guitarist in my book, and i know guitars good.

He sang the songs GREAT,and his style of lead fit right in perfect!!!
the DEAD put a lot of trust in him to make this happen, and i take
my hat off to the man.
wink.gif

i friggen had 1 of the best times ever at their shows this time, folks
this WAS their best performance ever in my book also, period.
i am SO GLAD to have witnessed it ALL,and i mean ALL 3 days tripping
on my wonderful MUSHROOMS wahahahahhahaa, laughing hard, smoking out
in the parking lot,CHOMPING DOWN ON a lot of shrooms it was GREAT!!!!!!!

WHAT CAN I TELL YOU,even if you are NOT a dead head,i would get the new
and UP COMING CD/DVD/BLUE RAY stuff!!!!!
With almost 80 thousand people packed in the stadium, all feeling the LOVE!
you just have to see it to believe what an EXCELLENT SHOW from the band..

The lights where frucking the best ever with a bunch of screens showing all
the cool colors/morphing into things as well as memories/pictures of the band
back in the days......50 YEARS is a dream for most bands.

Friends, anybody that had any bad thoughts about TREY,is a pure hater.
That dude is what i call A COOL DUDE,with a great heart and soul........
somebody from the shroomery.org gave me his FISH CD's 12-13 years ago!
Never though he would be playing WITH THE GRATEFUL DEAD wow,he was
sucking it up so good it just gave me tears..........how can you do SO GOOD
in only 3 months to do ALL HE DID???
His guitar playing to me is TOP KNOTCH anyone that thinks different now
is just a bone head, not a dead head hahahahaha he SLAMMED IT!!!!
the sound of his guitar was perfectly piecing but dynamically smooth.........

The band, well i tell you what friends, please get the video soon you'll see
what i mean about a great time and for 3 WHOLE NIGHTS until 1 am WITH,
fireworks from the city of CHICAGO,,and the EMPIOR STATE BUILDING lights
IN SINC WITH THE MUSIC people.........i have never seen anything like this....

the camera angles fantastic,,swooping in from every direction, above the stadium
with helicopters and in the concert i have never seen better angles before..........
it WAS LIKE A FUCKING RIDE being able to see this stuff, what a production!!!!!!!!

UN BELIEVABLE if a may!

You wanna talk about the drums, hahaha i would say 1 of the best if not
THE BEST DRUMS EVER!!!!!

by drums i mean the thing they do with all the toys they have for an hour!!!!!
classic DEAD show as they stop the music they start the tribal drums.............
SLASH TOYS FROM HELL.

It all goes with fantastic lights, computerized images swirling and morphing..
MASSIVE DRUMS pounding that stadium to DEATH.
and bliss hhehehee,as a lot of folks LOVED IT again to say the least!

the CRAZY sound device that has long strings on it,forgot what it is called?
is 1 cool sounding machine/instrument all controlled by computers and human
touches or just swinging your hands over the strings and antenna it has...with
MORE than just MUSIC the GRATEFUL DEAD is a show NOT TO MISS!!!

i can't say enough really,i can go on forever about it,TREY TREY TREY WAOOO!
i think the DEAD is passing the torch to TREY now....and he has my respect.....

if,anybody seen the movie stream please step in here and TALK about it!!

This is probably the biggest rock show you will ever see i your life, even
the rolling stones can not do a show THIS GRAND nope!

My favorite band RUSH,doesn't even come close huh...and that hurts to say.\?

it is just the amount of songs they have, they WIDE RANG of fans that like,
ROCK/JAZZ/BLUES/COUNTRY music all blended with classic songs/cover tunes
from classic musicians that they play appealing the MASSES for DECADES!!!!!!!!

You young people have got to see this shit,if you have not yet???

You wanna get HIGH hahaha, thats what the DEAD is ALL ABOUT!!!
Rock you good, and tear your face OFF with the extravaganza of VISUALS....
smile.gif

CRIST FUCKING SAKES,i have a new respect for that band now.
TREY KILLED IT/GROOVED IT/SLAMMED IT OUT OF THE PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
