Update: Day 53

Took some solo pics of each today. (side, top, roots) The last one pictured, is Little Minion.

I'm still waiting on the lights I ordered 12 days ago. Once they come in, these will get flipped.

I tried my hand at cloning. I took a couple of each on Monday. I also haven’t been as concerned with training as I typically would be if I was planning to SCROG. I’m quasi training and letting them sort of do their thing. I have a few new things I want to try with these. I still haven’t topped little minion. I’m still just letting it do it’s thing for now.

Update: Day 56

Just chugging right along. I talked to Growers Lights and my new lighting should finally ship today or tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have them by the end of the week. Then we can finally get this party started and flip.

If you don't recall, I'm not running SCROG this round. I plan on trying tomato cages. I plan on waiting until the plants can move to the tent before I add the cages. I enjoy being pretty handsy with my plants. So the minimal training with these is killing me. I would like to see what happens when you trim everything except the top 1-2 nodes before flip. So I'll be giving that a whirl with these.

I also might take another round of clones during the "monster cropping" window. I'm going to play that one by ear.

Update: Day 66

Shortly after those pics were taken in the last update, I cut everything off below the top node of every branch I kept. I re-applied more LST to continue leveling out the canopy. They've been topped a total of three times so far. I took 14 clones, two of each, and all but one already have roots growing out of the bottom of the solo cups. My plan is to move them into the flower tent by mid or end of next week. All will be dependent on my new LED lights arriving and the completion of the new tent set up.

The new lights finally arrived. It won't be long now. I should be able to flip in a few days. I still need to customize the light and finish setting up the new tent lay out.
