What is the quickest a plant can get thru flower? Quicker flower=less yield? Longer flower =bigger yield?

see I need a quick finisher since my veg system with the right strain will have girls ready to flip in 45 days. It's only been 3 weeks and they are huge for this age compared to any others...

it fits 6 1gal geo pots perfectly
the geopots are square based

I will be topping and cloning each one
giving them 5 days under the new lights
then straight to flower

Got ya.. How big a res? recirculating drip right. I watched a video with that light you got.. I was quite impressed.. I like that you can build your own..

I was gonna do recirc but I am not really set up for it yet
so It is gonna be another DTW
I am gonna shoot for as little waste as possible
and I really wanna kick these into flower immediately

because these are new to me
I dont want to be caught off guard with stretch and hight.....all these will be flipped between 8-12"
probably will end up 18-24" tall
hopefully just one long super thick buds

not much
I run a 10 gal res and it lasts me close to a week

DTW is all about timing

You got to time how long it takes to expell some solution out the bottom
then how long it takes before the top 2" becomes dry
and once you get the timing
it dosnt use up much water

I have been using 1/2 gal pots and feeding twice a night for 3min per feeding with the old setup
with 12 plants and it took 10 gal 1 week

so I figure 6 1 gal pots
should net the same
I am also building a better drip system
DIY drip rings and each line will have a ball valve/shutoff so I can regulate the amount of flow to each plant
diffee strains may feed differently
I will be using hard 1/4" pipe for the ring...with 4 hole punctures for the drip
I will take pictures of the entire deal and prts list piece by piece

when I go to recirc I am gonna mono crop so I know my plant and there will be no variables in plant
I will use the same fabric pots but filled with hydroton
I wanna see how they will hold up to constant moisture
and I will use the same drip rings on constant flow

what is your feed like
could be that you have been off this entire time

So I checked my old meter in 1500 ppm solution. .. it reads 732.

which tells me the new meter is dead on

but if you have been running lucas @ full strength it should be around 2.0ec
I know the Koolbloom Lucas formula is 2.0 ec
and wheather you run FNB or 3 part or Koolbloom
they are all the same ratio and ppm
