Make sure those fluorescence are least 5000 K! You don’t wanna be down in the three and 4000 to veg! The kelvins make a difference!
Good lookin out chucky! Wouldn’t have even known to check! Just went out and looked and they are 6500k. He said one of the housings had “flowering” bulbs in it but I don’t know anything about fluorescents and couldnt tell the difference in any of the fluorescents (they all look the same and are 6500k).

Hey @GNick55 when you get a chance! I got a new (to me light) 600 watt inclosed ducted bulb light set up with the ballast and everything! The curent bulb is a MH600 watt blue hue bulb. I have looked around and realize I need a HPS for the flowering

Link is just for sake of discussion! : ) I’ll hit the grow shop up for a new light, but before I go down there is this what I would be wanting to get for the entire flower cycle? GRUOTVSZAK HPS 600 Watt Grow Light Bulb E39 1150μmol Ultra PPF 20% to 40% PAR Increases Concentrate on RED Spectrum 90000 Lumens High Pressure Sodium 2-Pack https://a.co/d/5JqQHhE

thank you! ✌️

In general, 5000 And 6500 For veg! 4100, 3500, 3000 For flower! The higher more blue, the lower More red!

I looked closer and one of the bulbs is blue! That tripped me out. Didn’t know that was thing other than regular light bulbs being different colors for partys and Halloween hahaha!

I’ll probably just stick to vegging with them. I was taking inventory on the rest of the bulbs and some of them are shot so I’ll have to replace a few. Still really excited about getting that 600watt going, if it’s worth it for finishing out this run : ) I got my little spider farmer sf1000 that is rocking the single flowering GMOxOkie.

Thanks for the info chucky

Yeah, you just have to go by the k’s! And they are wonderful for veg! As long as you have enough watts and lumens! Nice that you got your hands on that stuff!

Haven’t heard talk of kelvin rating in a long time. It’s a language for us old folks.

That’s the exact HPS bulb I have in the cabinet, ran them this spring.
Plants are looking great!

Thanks JJ! I saw this brand on my search!

Do you think one 600watt would do the trick in regards to the foot print of my plants? Something I was thinking… even if it’s a little small for the foot print, the outcome could be worth the larfy on the outer edges?

E39 stands for the size of socket your dealing with if your curious
The socket for the bulb into the fixture? : )

One of my XX’s Hermed out also🤦‍♂️ found it after I saw the little one I posted earlier. I think it was a few different little like leaks from my timer and power block! My tower fan has two blue indicator lights on it and one of my cord ends has an orange light! Covered those all up and and some fit and finish foam to seal off the two rooms and block the light. Ran out of the silver duct tape (again) so thats on the list!

Thats it for now. More just an update on the plant and cause. Later!✌️

Thats a cool video. So at first as i was watching the video Im thinking the lights couldnt have done it. Towards the very end he talked about temps also being a factor! (Active studies) still though! these XX’s were clones and from the get go they have been “finicky”. I put their moms through hell😂 these girls have been making me adjust to their likings and not theirs to mine! Hahaha. Now that they are in flower I try a lot harder to keep the climate steady : )

Thanks again for sharing this.
