I think they are different... one still contain the nutrients in organic form and needs a bit of time to get up and running and the other is already available.... kinda think its a recipe for overfeeding yes. Maybe 1 to 2 feeds when forst used them water only and see where it goes???? Idk.

Because I went with the Stonington Blend, I’ve tried to err on the light side and feed every third water at most. That said, three plants, three different strains, three potentially different sets of needs.

I'm not sure if I understood that right but generally organic bottled nutes are in already available forms and should be fed carefully like synthetic.

To me they look overall a bit hungry. I dont think its necessarily one or 2 deficiencies... just that they are showing first is all.

Some are and some are only partially available. EJ uses no chelates and a good portion of it isnt soluble.
Youre right though, generally most are processed, like pbp.

I've been down that road with the plants so many times trying to narrow things down. I would try cal/mag and if it doesn't respond, I would simply do a though flush and start from scratch again.

Sorting out non specific nutrient anomalies are hit and miss, as the plant will continue to spiral downward while your guessing this or that. A good flush, and and fresh nutrients are sometimes just the best course of action, IMO. Immediate adjustment, and no guessing.

Not sure what you mean. If I created this work? This is my tent, and my grow, indoors. :-) I’m not sure they’re really in need of a flush with soil, or that I want to flush all the good stuff out of the “great” soil I’m using for this just yet...but I’ll keep my options open over the next 24 hrs.

It also grows these massive leaves that cause condensation problems and I’m actually hoping for a stretch in that plant to help with its stoutness. So, perhaps I’ll give her a bit more. The plant on the far left is what I grew outdoors this summer and is sativa.

I think this happens more often than not in many cases actually, I think your spot on. Do you think the nitrification process is responsible?

Not so much more the initial break down and decay... plants still like and will readily eat up ammonia/ammonium

Yea, I've felt the same way, not wanting to disturb what I've built up. It's definitely worth trying to correct, but good to have options. I'm just saying that's an option, and one that it will most certainly correct the problem, if other interventions fail.

Another thing I sometimes try in this situation is giving her a little surfactant, like some agave or similar, and see if that doesn't help liberate some of those nutrients you've got in there, making sure your water has good surface contact with the nutrients.

I’m having a hell of a time watering these. So many air pockets so water is coming out of the sides of the container before it’s really had a chance to wet the soil. Then I have to suck that water up and again give it to the plant. Next watering I will be seeing if there isn’t some way to improve that.

So is it possible that there is salt build up causing the def? With out runoff it’s very possible?

If your mix has a lot of peat in it like mine, when it dries, it's a bear to get to sip down water again. I just water a little at a time until the bag is moist, top to bottom. When it starts to run out of the bottom, then I dump the rest in a lot faster lol and it works. I know were are supposed to wait for dry but most of the time I dont exactly for that reason. It's not a mud pit but I dont let it go desert dry either. Hope this helps :)

If I were feeding a lot maybe? But I have literally fed them twice. I don’t know. A good flush isn’t ruled out.
