Florida Growers! Whats up!

Pankake here! Was at one point a hobby grower tried everything from bubble buckets to Coco flood table before I stopped. But Law school is over and Im looking to break into some organic blended soil and the organic teas while I try to get a good grasp on my skills for when I open which will hopefully be South Florida's largest dispensary please god let Admen 2 pass!

Thats a pretty Bold statement Pankake. welcome to the farm

Yes it is, its how I've been pitching my investors and if all goes well I should be able to pack up the statement.

welcome,

you can have the dispensary scene...............acres of greenhouses is it for me.

Haha well its going to be a Dispensary retail front, with about 50,000 Square Feet of indoor grow space. Lets just hope Admen 2 passes in the fall.

any one here have any experience with organics? I been on this forum since '10 and recently started posting again

I wish you the best. there is gonna be a ton of people applying for licenses and I dont see how they dont use a lottery system. luck of the draw. again I wish nothing but the best. Im positive it will pass. see you in the cluster fuck lol.

just re read that. damn 50k sqf is an obcene amount of space. thats a million at least in start up. you do know they are gonna have to be seperate businesses right? they arent gonna allow it like CO and have them both combined.

As of right now no one knows what they are going to do. My insiders tell me its going to be a Seed to Sale system and a mix of Arizona and Connecticut. I hope they dont do a lotto I think they will do a point system so if every one else whos applying has in place what I have then I wish them the best. I'm finishing up my security producers, and staffing handbook to go along with my business plan.

As for money I'm trying to rise 1.5 million to get going but at the same time I am able to do this with 500k just have to start small and grow but I wont need to change locations if I have enough space.

Oh and they can be part of the same company.

gotcha. lots of rumors going around. I know they can be part of the same company but Im willing to bet they have to be in 2 separate places./ lottery has been mentioned as well as preference to those that already have a business here. who knows. again best wishes

thats gonna cost a pretty penny.

yes it does, ~$250k per acre 44k sq ft.............10-15 acre dedicated to non production breeding program and a few acres of production G/H . the price may be more depending upon the configuration and required ammt of pos. pressure entry rooms.

the cost of in house testing lab and extraction lab adds quite a bit more to the necessary capital needed to properly fund a farm but its my goal to have a net zero energy consumption farm to compete when prices fall below $2.50 gm for finished product.

I would like to think that they would not discourage a dispensary owner from also owning a farm or vise versa.

direct vend to patients via in house dispensary would be nice, for those who don't want the exposure of entering a public dispensary.

didnt say same owner couldnt own both. just dont see them allowing both in same location

could save a ton of money by switching to Geico. on a serious not land is way cheaper towards the north. seen several 20 acres in ag area for 50k to 150 k. down south is so much more expensive and way more risk
