hey there g
you are doing an awesome job bro !! Sorry i dont have time to read every post so dont be upset if i am asking questions already answered.
1 what strain bro
2 talk to me about your a/c unit inc. cost please. is this unit like a portable that throws the hot air out a tube in the back outside?
any and all perticulars please and thank you.
1 dont rush out and buy anything (res;s) until after i finish my thread and can justify telling peeps to spend money on them. I will be able to give more details also.... (light above every plant or not) stuff like that.
btw, you should train all your branches outside the cages and as they continue to grow put some zip ties so they will stay at the cage... practice is all.
dds
All good DD's I understand that you are a busy man....
The strain is ReCon (LA Confidential x Cannadential) by DNA genetics.
I started with 36 seeds turned out with 22 fems flowered those out and killed off roughly half the pheno's on that go around. Then through the next few rounds I whittled it down to one clone.... my S pheno as she was labeled.

First off here is a link to my AC and spec sheet KWIKOOL 5 ton A/C
The unit is a Kwikool air cooled 5 ton A/C. It has a condenser that is fully sealed from the cooling side, it is cooled by a 3000cfm fan pulling air through 18" ducts. The front duct in the unit is the "in" the back duct on the unit is the "out." It pulls air from inside my ballast room, to keep that room cool, then across the condenser and exhausts into a large garage, heating it quite nicely in the winter months. It has an auto drain on the condensation pan and comes with a 5 gal external tank to hold water, I have mine plumed directly into a drain so no need to keep emptying the container.
The cooling side runs on a separate 2000cfm fan, running 2 - 10 inch ports. I have mine ducted into 8" insulated ducting with 4 opening for air to come out, I do this to spread the air more evenly rather than have my cooling coming from 1 spot. It also has a 20 x 24 x 1 filter in the front.
It runs off a 50amp breaker w/all proper wiring connecting it of course. I also have a 50amp fuse box like is used for installation of out-door units in line just before power goes into the unit. It takes 8.8 kWh at full power.
I went with this unit because of 2 reasons,
1: Its pretty much plug and play, no coolant lines to worry about.
2: No out side unit turning on and off with my light cycle hinting to people in the know what is inside.

I have decided that I wont buy res's until after my 1st run with the 13Dawgz just so I can get a base run in, then start to mess with things again.

Thanks for the tip! It seems that how you cage your plants up has a ton to do with final yields. I used an inner cage on a grow pulling branches out and under the rung they grew naturally through and doing this cut my yields in half, totally spindly and lanky plants with no weight at all.
Thanks for all your help getting me here any more Q's throw them my way

Old pic of my ac before I ducted it through the room. Notice the large in and out ducting on the top of the unit.
