OMG! I am NOT very happy right now! I am not sure which plant it came from but I have a seed. I am concerned as all I have pruned so far are a few small stems with small buds. The rest are still drying.
So are all my plants ruined? These are all suppose to be female seeds. I have never seen any sign of seeds in the growth process.... but honestly was not looking or concerned since they were all female.
If one plant seeds then they all seed right?
I still have a few days before I start to trim for jars.... I really hope they are not all ruined.

I thought I had tasted a seed when I was trying this. Now I know I did with this find. No, it's not smoke worthy but I am out and wanted to try this. LOL. Still really wet, even the small stems I cut from the main to dry faster. 1st hit good, rest not so much... even the tiny bottom buds pack a punch so I am hopeful for the larger, fully developed buds. But I have to say... I do not care how good it might get, seeds ruin this for me. I spent a hell of a lot of money on tent, seeds, nutrients, electricity to have SEEDS!!!!!!!

Once I find which plant this came from I will be filing a complaint with the seed company. Sad thing is, I just ordered more seeds from them

I guess on the positive, If I have seeds, I do not have to spend money on that for a while.
I know I haven't said it before, and you've obviously been here for a while but, Howdy, and Welcome to the Farm!
Sorry to hear your struggles! Don't lose hope, though. Cannabis pollen grains are tiny and can travel quite the distance. Even if you did
everything right, all it takes is a single grain of pollen to create a seed. Cannabis pollen grains can travel up to and over a MILE away (and several more, if conditions are correct) and even if you run a completely sealed grow room with carbon filters and everything, it's
still possible for a grain or two to slip in. This is especially concerning if you have other growers in your vicinity who maybe don't know what they're doing or maybe even an industrial hemp farm nearby that grows male and female plants. Could be a lot of these factors to consider.
That being said, I would not fret over 1 seed even if it did happen to pop out of the first bud you tried. The fact that it was only one seed is a good sign actually, because if it had been exposed to serious pollen, there would be a LOT more. Usually.
Also, as others have stated, a lot of things can cause a plant from feminized seed to hermaphrodite. Simple, seemingly unrelated mistakes could in fact cause this. A light leak into your grow space during lights out, other environmental stressors, etc.
Growing sensimilla is not easy and not always perfect. Keep in mind you're working
against nature. The plant's #1 concern is species survival, and they will try to reproduce as hard as they can, including "herming" as a last ditch effort to reproduce.
I don't know anything about you or your grow technique or experience, but growing quality sensimilla is
definitely a learning experience that usually takes years to master and even masters get humbled from time to time. Again, don't lose hope and don't necessarily blame the genetics. Take it as a chance to improve.
Let us know if you find any more seeds, but I'm hoping ya only got that one!
