I tend to write it as "a few leaves at a time" (or something like that) because it's hard to describe what I do. The idea, however, is to contrast the slow removal of leaves with removal of as much as a third or more of the plant at once, which is likely to be much more stressful and can even kill a plant. At the end of the day, defoliation is a learned skill that involves reading the plant, experience, growing style and what the grower wants to achieve.I don't like to take a few leaves everyday only because I like to give them at least a couple days of healing.....

I didn't see the thread till just now. Looking back at the pictures, the leaves are too dark, meaning there's too much nitrogen. The plant can recover from that and can still make it to harvest.Back off on the nitrogen. It’s vegging waaaaay too hard. Getting close to a toxicity.

Cold damage on cannabis looks like an iron deficiency coupled with overwatering. It turns the newest plant growth into a really light green.
