Yes. If you have the room in your grow space to keep mothers it's a plus as you'll be able to reduce your veg time and not have to contend with male/female issues straight photoperiods present. As you mentioned, it also insulates you from law enforcement taking an interest in your project.Im seeing i will have a littlebit more space in my shed, and wondered if it could work with a mini tent for veg for a mother plant and clones in same, that i can use as soon as harvest is done in my main tent? wont that be alot more effective then buying seeds over and over from scratch? and risk customs/police detecting a package eventually etc..
Veg doesn't NEED a high intensity lamp like flower. A cheap LED panel, T5 or even flourescent lighting should be enough. IMO, with LED panels as cheap as they are I would go with that mostly because it gives me a little more flexibility if my main light dies I at least have something to light them with while I replace the broken flower light.will it be enogh with some cheap weak veg light for 1 mother plant and the clones in Veg tent?

I think il try that led he linked if its useful for both veg and flowering, incase i just wanna use both tents for it.with a 60x90x60 tent for veg i would use this kind of light you'd probably be able to find form any DIY shop
60cm 10W led tube x 4 or x 6 i have had a 60x90 tent with 4 of this cheap tubes that worked great for veg with bonsaï mothers and clones
EDIT: you can probably find similar light easily in norway

i could just findI would choose LED lights.
- Higher light output per watt
- Variable intensity for the various growth stages.
- Energy savings.
- Light output will not diminish over time the way it will with fluorescent lights, so less need to replace tubes.
- No need to change tubes for vegetation versus flowering.
- Less heat.
I recommend the Viper Spectra P2000. This lamp will be adequate for both vegetative and flowering phase. If you scroll down and read the information on their website it will specify the area the light will cover for vegetative and flowering.i could just find

I get 4-5 oz per plant after my long veg times of around 2 months and I can get 4 in my 3x3. - 8 in my 5x5 or 9 under my 1000w hps in 3 gallon pots......Your method gets you more larger buds than mine but over all I think we're close to even on the outcome if you consider you get to harvest 1 - 2 months earlier so you can get more crops in but the weight will be close to the same.well the difference is moslty about how many you can put next to each others without losing space
then bigger pots mean bigger roots meaning the plants is able to sustain more growth overall
this guy is pulling 10gr per plant x 23 plants wich give 0.84 gr/w wich is good
my friend did an attempt with 3x3 9 plants in 6L pots (but i would recommand 9L) she pulled 29gr per plant x 9 plant wich give 0.65 gr/w wich isn't bad either
my friend also now growing 4x4 16 plants in 6L she is pulling 12 gr per plant x 16 plant wich also give around 0.65gr/w
and that was with the HPS for her she just finished her first harvest with led so will soon know soon how much she pulled this time
I believe they use that as a model number to confuse people.. they don't say 600Watts......its a 600W .....might as well be an X or an R and only in the fine print in specs can you find the actual wattagethat's not a true 600W it draw 65W from the wall

I flip mothers raise her children take cutings off the kids flip the kids raise their children and it continues...no need for long term mothersProbably going for a 200watt led for second tent, not sure what strain i wanna keep growing, so id prob wait with clones n mothers
Get the largest carbon filter you can don't make my mistake and buy a tiny filter because they don't flow enough air to keep up with the 4"fan. With that being said I would buy a fan with a controller. No bodies talking about crop steering with vpd
