So I found a PS3 lead that I dont need and cut the plug and connecter thing off, tied it to the top of the tent, and problem solved!

I have no idea how to tie any fancy knots so just took a pic of my basic knots.

Are these ok? It doesnt feel like its gonna come undone when I tug it and seems to be supporting the LED just fine. Id like a second opinion though.

Thats the way to do it man...when your just starting up you've gotta be crafty and be able to rig things to work until your able to set it up right...bungee cords, zip ties and duct tape can be used for just about anything...and I finally remembered what I used to raise and lower my plants in a tent on my very first grow...paver bricks about an inch tall, just stacked them on top of each other...when your walking down the street and see things that people have discarded, you've always gotta ask yourself, how will that help me in my grow?

and on the topping, looks ok to me. they should slow down a little then take off for you. just curious how many nodes up did you top at?

I topped the 3rd node (not counting the single leaf or cotyleydons)

Also just noticed that the stems on all the lower branches are completley purple, whats up with that? Is it meant to be like that?

Looks like it will hold irish,glad you found something that will work!If you don't feel safe about it you can always use bowline knots.They rock. ;)

I just realised I completley fucked up the topping on all 4 plants. I snipped off the 2 new growth bits on ALL the plants. I thought the new growth comes from the already established 5 finger leaves.

Jesur Christ is there anything I HAVNT messed up? Is there even any point continueing now?

Or should I just dump the lot and restart again in a few months?

Im genuinely just hating every min of this, Im fucking everything up, nothings going right, its like the universe is telling me "STOP. JUST STOP"

Take a deep breath,let it out slowly.You're fine man.I see the tops you nipped.You'll get two new shoots where you topped.It will take some time but you will.I like the FIM technique myself but I'll top,supercrop,pinch,LST,etc. This plant is forgiving for the most part.Whatever you do don't scrap what you have.See it through and learn from it.You're going to be just fine. ;)

Thanks man, and I apologise for the outburst. Today has been very stressful and everythings going wrong with everything so I lost the head a bit there. Im usually not so bad tempered, today has just been a hell of a day!
