Well, it means that you could feed a slightly stronger nute mix....you're supposed to want the runoff ppm to remain the same as what you feed...I've never checked runoff unless I was having an issue, if they are healthy I would just keep them them happe.

Day 46:

Look at all that frosty goodness lol. Everythings looking pretty decent considering that the majority of the buds arent recieving direct light due to me having to tie them out of the way because of how much they stretched.

Out of the 20+ tops, only about 6-8 tops are directly under the LED.

Nope, absolutley nothing I can do. They are still growing decently so its ok. I know its not optimal but the stretch really fucked me over.

Like I keep saying, NEVER doing a satty dom again lol. From here on in Im sticking to 80%+ indicas.

Remember you can at week 9 clip the top Buds and leave the smaller bud sites
to go to week 10 or better
The extra few days and the chance to move the plants around in the tent when you thin it out
may surprise you Just a thought my friend.

Yeah I thought about doing that only Im going to have to dry them in the tent too with the carbon filter on because the plant I had to get rid of stank the place out while drying. And that was just one plant with no buds, just immature pistils.

Im sure Il think of something though.

Day 48:

The smell is REALLY getting intense all of a sudden. Inside the tent the smell is INSANE. And now even the ONA block in the ducting isnt masking the smell well enough lol. I may have to put a second block in.

you better get some blocks to place outside the tent and outside the room as well... I think the smell problem would be solved in the future with a better tent and a bigger, better carbon filter...I don't know why you couldn't run this plant again if you like it, just don't veg as long next time...

Why outside the tent though? The smell isnt leaking out of the tent, its leaking out the ducting because my carbon filter is a piece of junk.

I didnt veg mine for long either man, they only had a 4 week veg (not including the 1 week seedling stage). They werent even that big when I flipped, but they stretched over 3.5x their height.

Only way Il ever do a Satty Dom again is if I SCROG

Seriously, if you love the smoke enough that you'd want to grow it again then I'd grow it again 12/12 from seed...would probably end up being the perfect size...and since they would be shorter you will get better light penetration from your LED...

with the smell, I just thought that it would keep the room smelling good if anything got past the on a in the vent...

So 7 weeks 1 day since the flip. The end is near, and I hope they fatten up a lot more than they already are! My original goal of 6oz is out the window because of the stretch, but I really want at least 4oz now.

About how much do they increase in weight during the last 1-2 weeks?

Thanks pal, Im getting an intense smell that I can only describe as a "dank, cats piss" smell lol. Thats when I open the tent and stick my head in. What kind of aromas did you get when you ran it?

And also how much can I expect them to fatten up in their final week? 25%? 50%?

nice stinky cat piss smell is sounds killer!! I had a skunky haze scent then towards the end she finihed up with a nice peat moss cinnamon scent.. I'd say by the looks of it your your ladies are gonna pack on a lot more resin and also swell up the calyx's more. how far are you bringing her clear cloudy or cloudy amber?

personally with Satty doms going 5-10% amber has always been really nice for me.. Some say you lose out on the Sativa high but with a long cure as the THCA breaks down to THC and also you get more amber trichs. after a year cure you will have the most amazing bud with high THC and CBD content. How all hybrids should be done imo.. u have an almost landrace sativa so go light in the amber department.

Im thinking cloudy amber, although due to the varying distances of buds from the LED some buds will be clear cloudy too while the lower popcorn may end up totally clear lol

Ya that's good get some amber in there... u pruned ur plant so u should have mostly even graduation of resin rippening over ur canopy. But i've found head nugs will by appearance be 5-10% amber once you break them open tho it goes cloudy then clear near the stem. I would judge based not on the top tier 'head' nugs but rather the ones just a step lower.

it's crazy how much resin rippening can effect the chemical composure of the final product. I had this Hindu Kush once that was almost pure Indica.. it was really amber like 40% and it just ruined the 'high' potential. A rule i go by is Harvesting Indica dom, cut clear cloudy. If hybrid 30%sativa 70%indica a touch of amber. and if sativa dom 5-10% amber. Even equatorial growers will tell u if they could let their crop go longer they would.. they have to cut early because of market demand and avoid cop raids but if they could let their crops go to the full season would get amber.
