I have no experience with ExcitR. I gave my root aphid infested veg plants a 30 min Triazicide drench up to the stem. They didnt seem bothered by it. I have a suspicion that the root aphids carry weird virus's and infections with them so even when you kill them weird stuff follows. I just doubled my dose of ACT tea that seemed to help after.

A LOT of bugs vector diseases, so you can lay the suspicion to rest and place it in the fact box. Root aphids seem to really knock a plant's defense systems down, what I experienced was horrid susceptibility to powdery mildew and such declined health I was never able to keep any of the infected lines going.
