;)Hey , Thanks!

I was a lucky duck
I got a infrared thermometer for the occasion .
Armed with a light metre and me new thermo., I was able to lower the lights for an even 1000ppfd , and adjust the fans to keep even the hottest cola under 26C .
With my new toys I increased light by %20 and dropped my canopy temp by 6C .

I new to this, and only minding the basic's.

My biggest sin right now is cold roots .
I have been passively intaking cold air thru the veg room and in to the flower room .
Spill tray is 12C.
Soil surface temp 10-11.
Rectal temp (middle of one foot cube pot) is 16-17C.
Main stalk ,at 12 inches up, 16C
Main stalk, below leading tip 19C
Buds 20-26C
These are lights on readings, at 6hrs .
The ambient air is 25 at canopy level.

The only thing saving my bacon is the space heater at lights out. I bumped up the night temps and the forced air warms up the pots all night.
I am going to move my intake so it pulls in cold air - thru my sealed hood - and then exhausts down from the fixture .
This should allow me to close the barn door in the veg room, and warm up everybody's toes .

Thanx Unc!
If I am not mistaken I saw a Home Hardware hygrometre in your garden.

That's where I got my thermom. ( if I got to pay for my prezzy's,,, I'm sure as hell going to pick them )
Always check there first .
Backlight, flashlight, and last temp. hold function are nifty .
Nice handfeel, accurate.
Def. not waterproof , although only 18 bucks .
As you can see the smoke shack is warming up .:party1:

I would recommend this product
I would also recommend choosing your own birthday presents ~ whenever given the opportunity.

Show and Tell today.
I snapped a few photos of my favorite toys and tools. I am new at this, and I can't necessarily read a plant; but I can read a measurement .

Ratcheting hangers are nice although they are only secure as what they are attached to. I pick these up at Peavey Mart, they are only a few dollars each. They are secured with 2 inch wood screws into the floor joists. I am pretty sure I could do a two-finger chin up off these things .
( or you could, more likely:drunk2:)

I still enjoy my old school thermometer. This one was repurposed from a combination rain gauge . I use it to take a rectal, in the middle of my soil, from time to time.

I got this indoor-outdoor for my birthday. I keep the unit in the Veg room. I passed the probe into the flower room and have the probe jammed into a cola, at the moment.

My CO2 meter watches humidity and temp. as well.

Simple tools make jobs easier. I put an extension on these syringes to help draw from the liquid nute bottles.

Stole these leveling legs from a washing machine .

This HM meter helps me watch the TDS and temperature.

This is a constant pH monitor I think it is h m as well

As you can see I got this for forty bucks. It pumps out a thousand watts and also makes an excellent door stop.

I watch the light output with an Apogee Quantum sensor. You are getting ripped off if you purchase the meter. The sensor puts off 5 volts per PPDF- just attach the quantum sensor to a cheap multimeter and multiply the reading by 5 .

Lastly an Eva dry dehumidifier. This unit kind of looks like a toy, although it does draw 6 amps and it did manage to pull my four by four flower room from 80 down to 60% relative humidity overnight, during lights off. It harvests 150 mL of water 12 hours .
Last, but not least, my CrappyTire milk house heater.

I run everything manually . I do not have enough automation to manage things on its own.

Day 49
7 weeks today

I probed the mothership

I was having trouble keeping the humidity down at night . I moved my circulating fan to serve as an intake fan . It brings in dry air during lights off.

Last push before summer !
I am tapering off the veg room. I will be to hot to grow thru summer.
Clones have been idling for a couple months .
Retuned the buckets, time for high gear.

My pre-mess

Cleanz-up

Still work to be done .

Topping, and new fixture tonight .

I am a day or two short of 8 weeks .
These things are showing very little signs of slowing.
The side view is diminishing, but the canopy is as fresh as a daisy.
I have since started nicking off the most offensive fan leaves up top.

My picturesque bud nuggets are becoming lumpy and steroid looking. I think some calyxes are starting to push and pop . Yet, I still have crystal clear bulb heads .

When I pour calmag on the spuds, it drips down and accumulates as dew drops under the sugar leaves, before it evaporates into heaven.
I took a photo of the sticky white growth under there .

The humidity is pushing back quite fiercely I must have a good seal on that door.

I started sneaking back the thermostat on the space heater . I have been letting it chill, down a little below 17 at night, with the cold intake fan running to manage humidity .
The floor is colder, but the air I am pulling in is 15 Celsius lately .
The plants are dropping lower fan leaves left and right I really enjoy the Autumn foliage .
Still trying to coax some colour with cold temps without retarding growth/development/maturing .
These looked like indicas to me as they were vegging, the fat leaves over lapped themselves, and were as big as my head.
The plant that was entirely on molested is growing as a single Cola since flip, there is two feet of dong, with all buds touching the main stem . I thought that was a sativa thing, but like I say -I really don't know anything about that kind of stuff .
I don't understand there parentage, or lineage for that matter. I read the information; but none of it is familiar enough to me to mean anything.
I got the seed from a kind dude ---shout out to anonymous ---his offering seemed to indicate that he knew what he was doing. I have soaked more than a dozen of his seeds, and every single one grew into a plant. He gave us three different crosses of Sour Larry , the one I'm growing right now is Sour Larry crossed with Smurfzilla. I thought smurfzilla was an auto , so I don't know HTF that works.
Lucky boy am I, if it tastes anything like "Sour Tangie", I dig that dank .
They look Smurfy enough for me !

I decided to bump up the nighttime temperature slightly . I understand they can't function below a certain temperature, and I believe they still have some actions yet to perform.
Pistil hairs are only 30% Brown
Scope shows only crystal clear heads .
Last watering was 50% fish water, they didn't really drink much .I watered tonight with straight RO- it was quick to run out the pot's bottom .
7 days ago they were drying out with 2L per day . Now, think they would do with only One Litre, every other day .
Lotsa Sativa hiding in there.
Fading, but hanging on.
