Hoops And Flowers

I ended up only covering the truck bed dep for 7 days, then stopped.

It had a really cool effect on the plants, the node length is awesome. They are filling out really well, just not exactly flowering.

But I am happy with the results, I had to try it out. I bet with a strain like my blue dragon they would be really far along in flower, so I think strain choice mattered.

Anyway, here is a pic of the day it was set up on June 26

Seems like I accidentally got some pollen on this Casey Jones, the only pollen it could have been was the Afcrack x (White Widow x Blueberry). I only see a few seeds on her total and the rest of the flowers seem to be growing fine.

I need a better camera I think, after seeing other close ups that I didn't take...

I will eat lemon cukes all day, I just pick em and peel em and munch em down. I probably do like lemon cukes less than regular ones though.

Looks good . outdoor threads dont die until October usually but they are always slow most of the time . i think your thread is cooler then mine fwiw .

I know I am spoiled with genetics...shit man, just about any clone only you can think of I can track down in a day or less. You have some sweet genetics too, don't know if you keep cuts alive of yours, but any seed plant could become the next bad ass elite clone only.

Unfortunately the deer munched this girl down hard last week, but she has grown since then, although she should be at least double the size she currently is.

I wanted to share this in case you miss it in the thread I found it in

In the spirit of keepin it real, today I discovered russet mites on at least one plant. I took a short video at magnification to show.

I doused that plant and the 4 or so around her with permethrin 2.5% with a hose end sprayer (pretty low dose) and also doused the insides of quite a few more as a precautionary measure. I also saturated the immediate areas around the plant including beds, caging, stalks, etc

Harvest is at least 70 days out so any treatments that I can do need to happen within the next ten days for me to feel comfortable.

I will douse the plants again this evening with takedown to try to smother them for the night.
