https://www.freshwatersystems.com/p...MI6bL_6c3F8QIVBB-tBh16aQEQEAQYAiABEgLVhPD_BwE I prefer rapid rooters. They sell them everywhere. For me I usually do clones. When I do seeds:
Placed in tap water kept around 77 to 80 F.
2 to 3 days later the little guys are careful placed in a 3.5" square nursery pot.
If seeds its there for at least 2 weeks. If clone. Like 8 days. Then if going in ProMix. I use a 5 gallon ridged square pot. If into DWC then I use a 5 gallon with Lava rock.
I water to full saturation with runoff using a water meter. In ProMix.
In DWC I top up daily. Change once a week. EXCEPT: when the plants peaking. And using a lot of water a day (gallon or more) then I give it a water change every 4 or 5 days. Usually for about 3 weeks of this.
I don't CO2. I don't hormone. Best I do is about a pound a light on a 600 watt. With a medium yielding Kush usually. If I yield more. It's a hybrid. And my buds got too big. And some went bad.
Secret to not stressing: after 4 months. You have enough smoke to burn one whenever you need it. And enough to last you if a crop doesn't turn out.
Find your favorite flavor. Mother it. Learn it. And let it reward you. Weak plants don't deserve love. Only the strong are worthy to clone.
For you I suggest.
A nice strain. From seed or clone. Robust. Easy to clone. Rapid rooters. Bubble cloner. Net cups to hold the rapid rooters. And a perlite 33% and peat sphagnum (moss) media with mychorizae. Basic brand name 1 part food. And a supply of prevention fungicide/pesticide.
Ed Rosenthal books can help. Lots of ads in em. But still good to have a new copy. And in 2 or 3 years. You should have the best smoke around all the time.
