I'd beg to differ, I could pick Blue Dream out of a pile of hundreds of nugs, I could walk in a room and tell you've been burning it, maybe some can misname stuff Kush and it flies but they would laugh at me and go Blue Dream Kush huh...lmao

Also, never experienced it being paranoid, maybe it's my physical chemistry but to me it's a soothing, enjoyable daytime high that I can do tons of work on...There are diff phenos of blue dream out there, I've seen 2 myself and one can go longer, 10+ weeks but I can't imagine being paranoid from my 9 weeker, never had anyone mention that.

Nowadays I can get weed that has me "driving my dick into the ground" but i haven't gotten the noids from weed in years. Maybe I've been growing the wrong strains. :rofl

Yeah, the only strain I've noticed to get me paranoid is Trainwreck actually, gives me a weird anxiety buzz and makes me feel like smoking a diff variety to overcome the trainwreck...lol

I`m not a fan of Trainwreck,strong enough I gess , just not what I`m looking for. I may use it in breeding someday though.

lol I can get bomb from the homies 16-1800 all day long from norcal bomb ass Sour D, Blue dream and few other commercial strains. Out here in socal you probably wont get 4k for a lb even kushs. Clubs have 10-20 other vendors competing to sell so they can choose what price they wanna pay. I know clubs around me pay nothing for commercial strains and bubba kush, headband ext becuz of quality and yield. happy to make 8 on a qp of my outdoor.

Actually depends on what strains u have and how well u can dial them in my homie's homie owns a disp tried one of my og's and said he would give me 4k a lb all day long unfortunately i grow for the head.Im in socal

The wreck can do some funny things sometimes! Usually it just makes me super productive and is one of my favorites in the headstash cabinet for a long work day, but sometimes it can make me queezy, and other times with that weird anxiety buzz too. Definitely keeps me awake if I smoke it at night. Although it doesn't always fetch the highest price (1600-2200 seems average here during flood season for outdoor), theres always a demand for some good Tdub. Combined with the fun of growing elephant tusks, I think its very worthy :yes

I have a few TW/Herijuana's sprouted at about 3 weeks old now, and also just pollinated a few cuts of TW with Alien F2 and Rascals Alien/OG, as well as with PK/MKultra pollen. I'm thinking the crosses are all going to pretty weird around the board, but you never know!

everything depends on the quality...dispensaries are garbage for the most part. they try to low ball you on your dank when they are selling straight crap outdoor for $30-$40 1/8. just criminal.



and blue dream is never going to fetch more than 2800 no matter how well its grown. it yields like a monster, thats why its cheap and thats why it cant be compared to OG. you cant get an OG to yeild like the blue dream, its not going to happen. therefore its never going to be the same price

With love the OG can almost pull same as blue dream, just takes mad technique and proper plant pruning...
I think the diff is anyone can yield good with blue dream, so yeah it makes it not nearly as in demand and priced accordingly. Most of the pros do 2 a light with OG; granted that's not 2+ like the blue dream but it's well worth it.

So...been out last few days trying to drop some killer Jamaican Og I grew from cali connect seeds....I have hit 10 clubs in 2 days.

I wanted 3200lb and wouldnt budge. out of the 10 only one agreed to the price but it was on consignment. The club was pretty bare and only been open a month so I aint chancing it.....no consignment from me...

A few pulled out some great looking buds of shit like blue dream and such...said they only paid 2500 or 2300...or some other BS....and its like no shit bro, its blue dream...This is Jamaican OG...i even bring my seed pack with me to give them some confidence its legit.

More then a few club owners said he never heard of cali connect..Sorry swerve if your out there, but cali connect isnt getting growers any respect anymore..every club said my bud had the desitiy, trichome coverage and insane smell....but that they never pay over 3....best offer i got was 2800 cash...but talk about some ghetto fuckers...they said it smelled just like the meth they use to make..

I left a sample at one...they called back, the dude said it was great, had awsome taste and knocked him out...said it was some of the best he's had in a while....then offered me 2600...i laughed...said i couldnt do that...then he said he'd buy an ounce from me for his personal for 250...told him only sellin in lbs...I dont have an ego about this strain, not saying its the best, but being a unique og cross I expect a little better. Plus I gave it a nice long cure (2 months).

Anyways...im gonna stick to my guns a little longer, This jamaican og is killer bud but I grew 4lbs of casey in the same space I only hit 1.5lbs of jamaican.....not growin this strain again for the clubs...only a plant here and there for my personal...

Its a real shame for the med patients, these clubs dont understand whats what, they only want rock hard indica type nugs anymore, and they wont pay for some of the more rare smaller yeilding strains....this jamiacan went 90 days and then got a 2 month cure....

I had a jamaican OG pheno i grew last year that went 85 days, but yielded twice as good, had a fruity smell like nothing else, and leaned on the sativa side....but didnt have the tight bud structure. I plyed hell getting rid of it. only got 2400 a lb....for a og...

I just wanna know who said a bud isnt grade A unless its looks like a tight indica...its bullshit....i geuss we'll all end up growing for bag appeal and the patients will get the same old shit...

To date the crop I made the most off of was sellin Oaksterdam casey jones semi organic...I yeilded 2lbs a light in a scrog....why would I ever care to grow anything exotic. That being said...I am growing out some whitefire moms right now...but it needs to yield or im just gonna go back to good old casey...such a shame.

Hey DazednConfussed: It might be worth letting a qp or couple halfers on consignment...once the patients come back after trying it and keep asking for it, the club will no they need to pay more to have that exclusive. When you go into a club to sell and they don't know or respect you as a grower I think they lowball and try to take advantage of you the majority of the time. Once a patient comes in and goes where is that Jamaican OG, and budtender says we r out, and said patient leaves with nothing cause they wanted Jamaican OG, then budtender calls you and goes how much do you want for that jamaican OG, alright bring it down...lol
Have seen it more than once...if they don't know you might have to make it easy for them to know.

My only problem with consignment is I have read quite a few horror stories....I mean what do we have as growers to protect us from the disp just up and not paying. I would have no problem with consign if I knew I would get paid. Its just not like I can go sue if they refure right?

I can be a hot head, and if I got ripped off it would put me in a bad position to burn the damm place down...I couldnt walk away from getting ripped.

I geuss i figured giving them samples should be my resume as a grower....

I understand completely, maybe shop around more clubs and when you find one that seems genuine and honest, or atleast true to their word, throw em a qp for consignment and if they are on time with payment, then atleast you might gain a constant stream there...I know it's super tough these days, these guys all have set vendors or are sourcing/growing the stuff themselves a lot more nowadays.

For the safety of not mentioning too much geographic info, maybe try going to a diff area and see if they treat you differently....sometimes the socal guys are more into the buck than the business of providing quality medication to patients! Please, people in socal don't attack me, it's just that if you have a concentration of clubs like socal has, it's gonna get competitive and the clubs will compete to the point of lowering prices once everyone has the popular varieties. They are advertising fukn 5 gram 1/8's and more, wtf!! What are they gonna do when it becomes 7gram 1/8...lol
Swear I saw an ad for 6gram 1/8 in that JEMM magazine. Also, just to vent a bit, that acronym stands for Journal for Education of Medical Marijuana. Ok, being objective like my scientist/lab training has tought me I looked through every page of that magazine and 75% of it was ads for collectives.
I won't criticize them as those clubs are paying for the ads and the magazine obviously likes money more than educating patients on medical marijuana, atleast I extract that when I perused it a couple times. A name change wouldn't hurt, imo

Sorry, to hear your having problems with the clubs. I feel your pain and can give you some advice. If you don't mind it. I too am in your shoes to dealing with clubs and this BS consignment shit. I don't deal in flower but seeds. I do from time to time. Bring some flower with me.

These clubs have gotten worst over the years. They act like their shit doesn't stink. As you know, I grow Sativa's and hybrids leaning strong on the sativa side. Well, like you already pointed out. All they want is this rock hard nug. These fuckin clowns don't know their ass from their elbow.

I've had the same thing happen to me. Left some samples and got a call later on. Some of the best smoke they've smoked in a long time. Along with some kief. Had the guys from weedtrack super happy.

Any ways, long story short. Best bet is to stick with the large clubs. The one's that have been around for a while. Drop them one elbow and let them go through that one. The consignment sucks, but this will get the ball rolling for you. Once, you get in with one or more of the clubs. Then, it's as simple as walking in and them looking over the samples and deal done.

I haven't delt with a club in a while. It's 11 hours on the road for me round trip to the bay area. Last club, I told them if they ripped me off. I was going to drive my diesel truck through their fuckin club and I meant it. :)

If you can part with one on consignment. It will get you rolling. Once the words get's out. They will be calling you for more. baba G is right, break it down smaller and then the word with spread and they will end up buying up the remaining stock.

Sativa's are hard to move to the clubs sometimes, but those dealing with depression and need something for a day time high. These are the ones for them. You got to market them as that also, but I'm sure you already know this.

Best of luck and let us know how things turn out. Glad I haven't had to deal with the clubs in a while. They get me pissed off sometimes. I bet the outdoor is flooding the clubs about now. OH and yes! They will try and low ball you. They will also find someone that is hurting for money and buy up all their crop. They know when someone is hurting. Love it when they come in the lobby and yell. NO MORE OUTDOOR! Unless you got AAA indoor, we don't want to see it. God! you got to love that.

The business model isn't about the medicine but a competitive freebie battlegalactica going on...lmao

Hey guys, thanks for all the advice...I do appricate it.

I understand the $40 cap disp not being able to pay $3klb....I have been checking there selcection first, looking for the clubs that have $60 1/8th (and there's plenty..lol)....I just think as growers we should at least get 50% of what the club sells it for.

A few years back on my first grow I droped some killer Chemdog #4 at a club...I let it go for like 2200....he told me he was only gonna be resellin for $40 an 1/8th....Just for shits and giggles my brother went into the club a few days later and my Chemdog #4 was being sold as OG Kush and was $55 an 1/8th.

Anyways...long story short I went and droped it at the place this morning that offered $2800....figured $400 isnt worth the anxiety...but these owners were seriously probly gang bangers out side the club....I brought my brother and his MMA fighter friend on in with me...I didnt trust being alone with a lb in a place like that. But it all went fine.

I am in the Sac area....I have considered going down towards socal but the cost of gas, and the anxiety of driving that far with multible pounds just isnt worth it to me. Hell I dont even know what the legality is these days.

I know a few better know clubs that pay decent but want consignment but another grower friend was in recently and they were just loaded with strains and wernt exactly looking for new stuff.

My experiance this time showed the higher payers were the newer clubs....clubs that didnt get as much traffic from growers droppin by.

I just wanted to make these posts to give any other farmers an idea what the club scene is like these days up in this area.

Not looking forward to this winter...I bet when outdoor harvest hits Ill be looking around $2k lb for indoor.....I would just stock pile till summer but im always worried prices may fall even lower....

What sucks is many of these clubs not all but many are getting close to 8K and 9K retail per lb to their clients. Small clubs with 1 bud tender and 1 security guard earning 90K per week gross non profit. This is first hand from a friend who owns and operates a collective in SOCAL. At least he is honest with me about it but the rest all do the same shit and cry poor and want budget crap.

Around my parts...you see more people only buying grams at a time also..more so then you see people buying quaters or ounces...and at $20 a gram...there killin it...
