If the average is 1 oz. of hash per lb. of trim then thats about 6%, even 2 oz. per lb. is only 12.5%. I think the average person gets around 15%, right??

I've got a buddy thats very frugal, he has had me run his shit 6x to make sure he gets everything. Well nowadays he only has me run it 3x, and is very satisfied. I give him back the used trim and he boils it in a crock pot to make butter with the leftover good stuff. Personally I run my own stuff 3x and the 1st run can be hard to tell from the 3rd you just get less each run. I guarantee that guy was running your stuff more than once, but like you said live and learn. I'm also sure that he got the lion share of the good stuff. The best yields i've ever gotten from bubble hash was with outdoor trim!! and it was around 15 percent!! I ran a batch recently with indoor trim and didn't even touch 10%! It could have been my form though.

thats really hard to answer. it really depends on teh amount of trichs on the source material. my guess would be 7-14 grams per lb of trim and higher for the kif.

i only used a 3 bag setup with a bro and i was impressed with what we got back.

if you worried about getting scammed just work with buddy and split it once u done and part ways.

I understand the process, and have seen an 8 bag set-up but have no experience w/ bubble hash making. A guy that makes it wants to go 50/50- his labor/my trim. I'd do it myself, but I simply don't have the time to take on a new project ATM.

I have about 25-30 lbs of dry, cured bud trim and 5 lbs of kif that was collected mostly from what dropped through the dry rack screens. It's predominantly, broken buds, popcorn buds, immature buds from pruning, and sugar leaf trim- 10-20% small fan leaves w/ decent trichs.

I know it's hard to estimate w/o seeing it but what kind of yield- give or take 20% should I expect- full melt, mid-range and 160 microns (cooking?). What's a typical breakdown per lb? Thanks

It’s an impossible question to answer. But if it is just trim depending on the equipment he has it might not be a terrible idea.

Never made bubble hash before. But I have processed bud and trim into concentrate for others. Standard split was always 50:50.

I think that is fair. I absolutely appreciate the time and talent required to produce great bud. With that said, the concentrate I make isnt your average RSO or QW. It takes time and talent to produce a quality concentrate as well. Not to mention the cost of equipment. Approx cost of putting together my home lab was about $8000CAD. So if the processor is producing a quality product and honest with the exchange, 50:50 is very fair.

I dont even know what to call it. Crumble is the best description. Full flavor profile. Very smooth. Filtered down to 0.45um.
