If you have not glued them in you might try putting those wye's at 45* so your plants will not be directly overhead. JK

just to correct my post
i was meant to write this is my first indoor NFT grow ever

write up of whats going on

first of all
my set-up is a recirculating vertical NFT in a coliseum style grow
it houses 70 pips/plants
can either be from seed or propagated clones
and remains stationary till the very end (harvest)
this set-up has potential to harvest 70 ounces every cycle
at the moment its currently 12/12

inside*
i have 2 x 400watt HPS bulbs with a 360 degree light disperse
1 x 200mm intake fan 24hrs on
1 x 250mm exhaust fan 24hrs on
i flush once every week with new nutrient mixed solution
at 6.0-6.3 PH
fluid temp is regulated at 28 degrees
light on temp is 28 degrees
light off temp is 24 degrees
i have a air condenser running 24hrs
the system holds 125 liters in total

nutrients *
125mls to every 25 liters x 5
30mls hormone growth to every 25 liters x 5

strain*
100% indica max height is 3' - 4.5'

hey how's it going
sorry man but its too late to adjust the wye's
although , the plants are starting to lean towards the light now
this is a trial & error run
but the next set-up i make will have adjustments and will be fine tuned and hopefully alot more professional looking , lol

JK, I'm assuming you're talking to me regarding the wyes - I think 45* is a little too far because then they'll encroach on the columns next to it, but something like 22.5* would help out with plant height/space, methinks.

Also, only gonna glue the bottom piece of PVC into the wyes, so they're always going to be adjustable and so I can take apart the system for maintenance/cleaning if need be.

less lights needed to cover a large foot print
im getting a 360 light disperse
really , my set up should be a little smaller in diameter
so i only use 1 light but instead iv got 2
have a look on you tube for MJ coliseum grows
heath robinson flooded tube
and you'll see
