Warm up the roots if you can at all. I'd try covering with some black or red plastic, see how that works. It won't stop the purpling, but it should help speed up growth.

Wow, Ken, your place looks a lot like ours. Snow went down to 1,000' easily. We've only got about 6", though. Snowpack and rainfall amounts just aren't up to snuff.
 
Still snowing here now ken,28 degrees.The news just reported its snowing from the top of cajon pass all the way to barstow!
 
Ha! Just spoke with a friend stationed at Fort Irwin and she said snow was indeed predicted. Seems she got it. She hates snow.
 
Last night they said it was falling all the way to primm sea.
 
I think we only got about 3 or 4 inches here..Its pretty..but I will be glad when its melted and dryed

man here in sac area we got a thick ass fog, no snow though.... damn good thing you beefed up your greenhouse

Hey Seamaiden, I know this wont suprise you. Because I have seen your snow covered seedlings :)

I just had to show this years Volunteers(from a bubble run)
..They were covered in 4 inches of snow yesterday
