Thanks guys. I was just about to ask you all this question. So you would cull all the clones from the plants that hermied? That puts a bit of a damper on my next run. Maybe run the clones through and don't take any cuts to run again?I know that feeling bro! It sucks a lot but you did the right thing by misting and cutting off what you can. I know you said the pH fiasco stressed them out and that is probably true BUT like R said there were those that did not hermie from the stress. Those are the keepers! The strong ones that can take a beating is what we all want right? I wouldn't run anything that hermied again personnaly. Imagine if you dedicated another run to questionable genetics and they hermie again! I would be livid. just my 2 cents on that.
Here's my opinion on if you should let them finish out to week 9-10 instead of 8. I think you should because would you rather have almost ripe flowers with some partial seeds, or would you rather have ripe flowers with partial seeds? I'd guess ripe right? That way if you decide to process it in anyway you'll still have quality resin. It's also possible that the seeds are only toward the bottom as well. Any pollen at this point won't have enough time to create a ton of seeds anyway so I think you're about as seeded as you'll get.

Appreciate you bro, thanks for the encouragment. I've been beating myself up over it all day. You're right though, although its not desirable, it is still quality useable product. Not all is lost. I was wondering if even though the pH was outside of healthy parameters, should I have walked it up to a healthy number instead if just going to 6.2 right away? I'm wondering if that big swing is what pushed them over the edge? I'll grab a shot tonight when I get home, first time I haven't been excited to get in there since I started :shifty:I want to see a picture of my girl! Guaranteed you'll still pull out of this with some fire brotha. Don't beat yourself up over it ok! You're doing everything you possible can especially with your busy schedule. Much respect.
Things could be worse.... like PM and Bud rot. Nothing hurts more than when you just have to literally throw away lb's of what would have been good flower but it's all rotted from rainfall. I was very mad to say the least. At least this way you'll still be able to harvest good clean flowers, and at the very least quality resin.
You got this bro!
You ever ask a question, know the answer you're gonna get, know it's the right answer, and still want to hear something else? Lol I appreciate the help bro. Its gonna be tough to do...Yup cull the clones.
They are copies of the original.
And if you decide to run them just remember there will be a risk of recurrence.
Eliminate any bad variables so that only good remain as your grow evolves.
It won't put a damper on your next run.
You adapt what you got to fill the space.
If you have less just veg longer and train.
And it will not damper anything.
You guys are right, I just wish you could smell the rks, its gonna be hard to say goodbye lol. But you're both right. I'm not ready to take that risk. On the plus side I still have the seedlings and cuts that didn't make it into this run. So 3 phenos of sf x lbl, 2 phenos of DJs gold and 5 hyper glue seedlings, plus the sf x lbl and spliffs that didn't hermie. I will have to make that work.Indeed I would cull the clones of the hermie plants and keep the strong ones.
R said it perfect. If you do decide not to cull them and run them regardless you risk a recurrence no doubt about it.
Maybe it won't happen because you'll have your pH on point. Maybe it will happen anyway. Can you deal with that thought for a whole run? I think you already know the answer though. It's tough to ditch clones and all. I've done it and you feel like you're starting over from scratch, but in the long run it will save you time and your next run. Your next run is going to be your best yet! don't rush it!
I was surprised because she was pretty pissed off the whole time and was also a fem. Just the 3 DNA plants hermied, still not fair to say it was their fault. I effed up good. I'll have to keep an eye on the DJs gold, they're also DNAYAY SPLIFF DIDN'T HERMIE!:love2: Imagine the possibilities with her being on point with pH the whole time.
Ya you should be good with those. Sounds like you still have some great stuff lined up.
Yea I feel better about it. It hit me hard at first but it was always a possibility. I'll have a little more time the second grow so that should help. Plus I'm better preparedIt happened to me on my 2nd grow.
I know how ya feel.

That's a good question. I'd imagine it's definitely a possibility.Random stoner question. *hits joint* If you stress a male plant will he throw female flowers? :smoking: On that note I'm about to go to tranny central and reassess the damage. :crying2:
