If you grind up and sprinkle some weed on your coffee grounds (or kief) in the coffee maker it will flavor the coffee with your strain and give a speedier mild buzz.
I guess if the weed was decarbed it would be stronger. But taste worse.
THC is NOT water soluble. Brewing it with coffee would probably end with a bunch of Kif swirling around the bottom of the cup. Now... if you add a little whiskey to it... :)
Although there are some medical benefits to eating raw cannabis, eating raw cannabis does nothing to get you high. It must be decarbed for the proper time and temp. Putting it in your coffee will definitely change the taste (if you like that taste) but you ain't getting high.
My canna butter turned out Great , I use leaves and trim , a few little buds and decarbed in oven then placed in butter / water in crockpot for a while . Then fridge pour off water when set and I usually have 1/2tsp with a litter peanut butter and it is super calming relaxing fun High....anytime of the day or night...My buds and trim are cured for months. We never decarb. The infused coconut oil we make gets baked into edibles and candy and is plenty decarbed. We had to cut the strength for most of our patients. They were freaking out on a muffin.
And the coffee made with kief in the grounds gives a mild high like i said.

Happy growing
I like a ml of tincture in my coffee. Get's me comfy. If you grind up and sprinkle some weed on your coffee grounds (or kief) in the coffee maker it will flavor the coffee with your strain and give a speedier mild buzz.

Good for her. Enjoy your days.Years ago, about 20 of them, my wife's elderly aunt was living with us and was 85 at the time. I made a batch of potent brownies, and a regular batch without the extra goodies. I sprinkled powdered sugar on the good ones because she was diabetic and didn't eat sweets, especially anything with sugar. Safe thinking, right? Aunt Mame got hungry for something sweet, and despite her diabetes, they looked so good with the powdered sugar on them....

To each his own brother, but your leaving alot of THC unconverted.
Considering that there is NO THC in raw cannabis (just THC-a) and the science behind the conversion to THC is simply heat & time. I'm not sure why anyone would skip this simple process that takes 40-45 minutes in an oven.
If you are arguing about a bud put in the coffee maker you are right. It is likely only 30% converted at most from time curing. (I had a link to tests that show this. Maybe in a decarb machine company ad.)
But the infused coconut oil a portion of cannabanoids are converted during the simmering. And more is converted when we bake with it.
And the quality of the flowers has a lot to do with the effects.
The “decarbed” edibles at the stores here with supposed mg’s of thc and the caregivers edibles I have tried which were also decarbed first are no where near as strong or long lasting as ours.
And i dont care if we use more trim and buds to make it. We always have more than we need. Our garden and products are perperually grown and made.
Like i said earlier. Almost no one would try a second muffin. It was too strong even for daily smokers. It was a commitment like doing acid. You would be overcome for a few hours at least. Some said all night.
So we started making 1/4 doses in candies and everyone seems to want them. Especially the store owner we know.
So do what you like. But dont think you know what someone elses stuff is like until you try it. I would be happy to share by the way if it was feasable.
No brother, no arguing, just science. If what works for you works, stick with it. I chuckled about the muffins "being a commitment, like doing acid" . Your wording was prefect. I made a batch of brownies (canabutter) using mini muffin tins. My wife, who was on high doses of RSO at the time ate one w/o any ill effects, aside for feeling relaxed. I knew the mg, so I ate 1/4 of one at 11 AM- It was like a bad trip. i woke up at 7PM
From my recipes on canna butter the decarb in the oven was fine but the crock pot and butter together simmering longer made it the strongest it could be out of what I put in.i did think it was odd that I would have to use decarbed weed to put in cookies , brownies etc.. since they are baked..I apologize. I should have said debating. Regarding science. I wonder if the boiling temps during transfer and then the oven baking would be too much after a full decarb. And im not saying our raw coco butter is strong enough. Although with twice the dosage will start to really have some kick. But that the baked goods are.

I used to have some kick ass hash that would get me ripped for 12 hrs just by eating a small piece with a nice creamy coffee when I used to consume cream.
I got a good juicer, I really need to try it out this harvest. A lot of positive studies on using the raw plant. I've personally seen hemp oil cure my mother-in-law's bladder cancer. Frickin' hemp. I grow a bit better then hemp. Smh.I used to have some kick ass hash that would get me ripped for 12 hrs just by eating a small piece with a nice creamy coffee when I used to consume cream.
I reduced that pencil eraser sized piece drastically after that experience to a piece that would react the way I wanted it to.
