If your showing n tox at 500ppm the media is definitely getting to dry. Just my advice. If ya think going back to 3 times a day will help you can try it.
Honestly I would be flooding every 2 hrs min. Don't forget there will be some adjustment period needed because the root systems development a bit different in water vs a drier media.
I can't say if you have root issues from before... I can say if you do this again I would be flooding at min every 2 hrs from the start.

so you think I should increase watering again and leave the ppms @ 500? I’m also running co2 at 1000ppm and humidity at 58-60. Room temps are 81-83. The ppms in the res are going down now so maybe I’ll change the res and bring it back to 500. If they continue to go down I’ll add some nutes. I was hoping that the tip clawing was because I increased the nute strength too much.

Yeah im thinking min every 2 hrs. That indica leaner will have its own humidity bubble per se. Those big fat leave are great at trapping humidity so make sure they have good airflow for that reason and to make sure CO2 is getting to the leaves
