pre 98 takin over
greetings from the heartland fellow growers of the ganja.. it's been awhile since i ventured up to my patch being as the rains has been falling a bit and the weather has generaly been good. but it was time to check in and give the girls some big bloom, and it was 101 yesterday, another record high for the date, so the girls were dry and could use a nice drink.
the bubba kush cross are getting big, they are dwarfing the jackberry now. both of the jacks had fallen over with no real reason why, they had just started to bud. i tied one up and left the other the way it was, it had transformed well and is going to produce fine like it is....
bubba kush are starting to bud up, man these could produce. very nice stucture and stalks very big. keeping my fingers crossed and will be ready if needed, don't want to go to patch a whole lot more but gotta make sure things are going right.....
pics 1through 5 are 2 of the bubbas, next is another big bubba, biggest one, last 2 are the jackberry,,, enjoy.....\

went up to the prairie last night to check onthe girls. It turned into quite the adventure but I got them watered.
THey are looking good. I have 3 pre98 bubba kush x purple nepal and 1 jackberry left. One of the jackberry died due to grower malfunction. It had grown through the cage and it finally cut itself off. I should have fixed the problem months ago.
Kush is looking great, seems like they're still strecthing, although they are budding up hard and heavy.
Jackberry looks completly different but good in its own way.

Sorry for the no updates on the thread. Last time I went to patch couldn't take pictures as I was bellying crawling around trying not to get spotted. Was there on or about the 22nd and picked one of the pre 98's. Looks just like the other 2 but was weeks ahead in the maturation process. Here's some shots of it dryed. Hope to harvest the jackberry and rest of bubba kush in the next 2 weeks.

good work brother! this is my first season away from Mo. i miss the outdoor. missouri is rough but it makes strong potent plants. had a shiva and a maple leaf/rainbow that killed it there. hard work carrying h20. i always lined my holes w/ plastic and pre amended w/ compost. rep'd.

One of the pre 98's is getting chopped tonight. The jackberry and the other pre 98 need a week more. The one I'm chopping may have gone a day or 2 to long but damn the nugs are rock hard. No mold but a couple of tips are like burnt. Leaving the 2 plants will be hard but they really need to fill out to reach max potenial.

thnaks man, it was so so so nice to see them still growing today..
smoke is very smooth and powerful, it all went to quick, could not even cure it right, boys were beating down the door.

Sticky, give me a week on that taste. I've got alot of other smokes I'm trying right now, but it just be good cause it flying off the shelf.
Damn, 2 remaining plants can use another week at least, hopefully this last week they will really fill out. The last kush I picked yeilded just over an LB. Think if I wait on the one remaining I can get closer to 2. It's a bigger plant. The jackberry is looking good, nugs hard as rocks, plant had fallen over again so that did not help in the bud formation but it still lokks pretty good, I tied her back up for the last push.
I NEED GOOD KARMA SENT MY WAY GROWERS, this last week is going to be nerve racking, plus the veg is dying and you can see more now than in heart of summer.

ahh man i just finished up my trimming so everything is hanging up now just waiting for it all to dry out how long do you let your hang and dry before they go into jars ?
im gonna make some butter not the hash oil type budder but the type ya cook with the lil pop corn buds and trim have ou tried that ?
