A look at the Orange Creamsicle...

Last year's Orange Creamsicle grew only 3-5 finger fronds all the way to the base of the buds. Even the water leaves on the colas only only grew 7 finger fronds.

This year it's beanling has up to 12 fingers on it's upper fronds. Some of the extra fingers are growing out of the top of those fronds.

I don't know if this was from X pollination, the grow lights, or if it's just a mutant mongoloid.
What it still has in common with the mother is a massive stalk. At the base it's already well over an inch across and the bottom branches are almost an inch thick. (Can't really see it in the pic due to lens distortion)

I know the mother was bread for very large yields so my guess is this stout structure isn't an accident.
