I've never had bud rot, but you can always take off affected area & keep going in flower with most thingsWeird. I left a long message typed in here and then didn't post it.
You know what the penalty is for having such a smooth ride up to now? Not having a smooth ride. You were correct on budrot, @dire wolf . I think it's just on the one stalk I found, which happens to also be full of seeds, so that's kind of funny. It was also against the tent wall, so apparently that helps. However, it's the Peyote Critical that was seeded accidentally and I believe you had cautioned against that for that reason. The rest of the plant looks okay, even though it just doesn't 'feel' right to me. I've been doing that staring thing you do when you sense something isn't right.
Do people pull buds off the plants and just keep them going? Is that a thing? I'm nervous to plant anything as I think we may be moving again. It will be to a better place with more space, but I'm sure you understand the hesitation to plant and move.
Sometimes I harvest tops & let middle of plant go longer, not sure about if rot spreads thoI've never had bud rot, but you can always take off affected area & keep going in flower with most things
Haven't dealt with Bud rot since the mid-90s but what I would do is carefully cut all the affected areas off, inspect the whole plant, make sure nothing is touching the tent side like you mentioned and you need to get a fan on the floor in among those plants cuz increased airflow is your best friend right now Kim, cuz Bud rot will spread like a cancer, good luckWeird. I was actually considering that, if only because they are getting very top heavy and I've learned the importance of some kind of something to help hold them upright. My big one is becoming a beast to handle alone as far as moving. She acted like she wanted to topple over yesterday.Sometimes I harvest tops & let middle of plant go longer, not sure about if rot spreads tho
I did that, thankfully. I've inspected and everything else looks fine. It just appears to be that one branch that was affected. I was smelling something for one day, but I was also all congested so it was hard to tell where it was coming from. You can clean some leaves and provide more air on the lower part of the plants, some vents? Some cleaning and like you said you can help them holding up somehow......They really dont like to bounce on their own weight,it hardens their fattening.I did that, thankfully. I'm struggling with using the giant ventilation fan in there. It literally has enough power to take the humidity out of the entire apartment. Will bleach hurt them if I spray the floors down and such? That's what I want to do, but I'm hesitant as this isn't the back of an ambulance, you know? I know what we can take, but don't have enough experience with them. I don't feel like it will harm them as I know you can put a smidge of bleach in water and some plants actually love it. I have to get it all under control because I have to grow a full medicinal herb garden from this apartment so I can finish my certification. I'm adapting and overcoming, but getting full on sick and becoming a freakin' zombie for a few days screwed everything up. It's all good. I need to learn. :)You can clean some leaves and provide more air on the lower part of the plants, some vents? Some cleaning and like you said you can help them holding up somehow......They really dont like to bounce on their own weight,it hardens their fattening.
nice stones!:)I also have small collection and i also believe they cure things and have something...special in them........The flowering plants also look very nice otherwise.
Also, thank you! I'm about to send my daughter an angel aura crystal. I keep giving them away to folks who need them, now I need more. Haha! I'd love to see yours. You can clean some leaves and provide more air on the lower part of the plants, some vents? Some cleaning and like you said you can help them holding up somehow......They really dont like to bounce on their own weight,it hardens their fattening.

Do you have any bamboo stakes? You could gently tie them to stakes to prop them up.I was actually considering that, if only because they are getting very top heavy and I've learned the importance of some kind of something to help hold them upright. Do you think if I put that Bloomspect light up on the floor and point it towards the bottom branches it will help?
I'm hesitant to use bleach around my plants, I use rubbing alcohol & peroxide but just because i dont do it doesnt mean it's not ok to do, just be carefulI'm struggling with using the giant ventilation fan in there. I topped them today and hung up to dry. I hope that's what I am supposed to do. Today I have to squint to see and I think that's what I was directed to do. If all of this is wasted, I will survive, but at least I have learned something. You know? I'll post pictures later as I see your point about putting the light at the bottom. I am the daughter of a firefighter, so that's a good thing to think about.Do you have any bamboo stakes? You could gently tie them to stakes to prop them up.
I've just lowered my lights after I cut off tops to finish lower stuff but I guess you can put a light on the floor, never tried it, be careful of any fire hazard (light heat etc).
You can throw a rock on top of pot too if it's getting too top heavy (I have a tree like plant in my living room I've done this to, refuse to put in a bigger pot, already huge)
Well, I will use that then. I know we can all handle that combination okay.I'm hesitant to use bleach around my plants, I use rubbing alcohol & peroxide but just because i dont do it doesnt mean it's not ok to do, just be careful
I wasn't thinking of the leaves, I was thinking more of the stalks. Considering the fire hazard, I don't think I will be doing so anyway.Leaves don't absorb light on the underside, only on the tops if that's what you're going for?
As far as I know stocks absorb no light at allI wasn't thinking of the leaves, I was thinking more of the stalks. Considering the fire hazard, I don't think I will be doing so anyway.
And low and slow makes damn good barbecue too! Oops! this is probably a vegan thread LOLThere's also a drying method called low & slow that works well if you dont have a good drying area, mine always dry too fast if I dont do something like that & it kills potency
Wait, you're not vegan are you, kim? Thought you loved bacon with me lolAnd low and slow makes damn good barbecue too! Oops! this is probably a vegan thread LOLjust kidding, kinda..✌
Good to know, so no reason to do so.As far as I know stocks absorb no light at all
